Yes you heard right, the roflrawket. I didn't know whether to put this in the mini game or aesthetic list, so i just decided with aesthetic. Anyways, this map isn't just completely for show...you can actually ride it! And the best part is, it's not a dl map. I know this has been done before probably but I decided to make this anyways. So you start off here, firstly.(Note this would be better played on forge just incase changes are needed to be made.) Next, pick up a grav lift placed infront of you and then just walk up the pallet path and enter the bottom of the rocket. Next, simply use it, and you'll start flying up(It's really fun.). If the box happens to get stuck up there, simply shoot a rocket at it placed a few meters behind the starting point. Liftoff!!! I can see how this could be fun exspecially if you wanted to have a good round of sniper practice attempting to snipe your friend out of the double box in the air. Looks pretty nice but has a simple concept.
these are so fun just to play around with, I like making a map on rats nest where there are a bunch and you have instant respawn lifts, and its infection and you try to stay up and stay away from the zombies...thats fun. but i like how you took it a step further and made it l00k like a rocket, always simple but fun. Fun map and keep forging ~Battery
looks cool. it reminds me of an escape pod. if this was an infection game and u guys have like a base, and the zombies are invading. this would come ver in handy. i just see me now getting swarmed withzombies and then LIFT OFF. great map
Thanks guys, and yes I am working on 2 other maps at the moment on for slayer which is ready to be uploaded and the other one an infection maze map which is currently in the testing process.
Only if you could weld objects together, I was playing this map and I went in the rocket and threw the lift, it shot me so high I fell to my death.
Wouldn't it be cool to make a map like this, but make it so you always fall to your death, and respawn inside a base? (using starting points of course) for infection.
That doesn't make any sense... This is a pretty cool switch (?) though. I could definitely see some hours of pointless fun coming from this map
i think he means when you respawn you are "landing" and you land in the base or whatever. anyway, cool map. ive seen this before but not in an actual map. 5/5 for originality.
yup, it doesn't take an expert forger to make, but I did what others were probably too lazy and never even thought of by making a base.
very fun. i wish there was a way so you could see out the box though without falling out. but oh well. nice map. i really like how it actually looks like a rocket, well, at least b4 liftoff
i have defianatly seen this many times before but it wuz when we would goof around in forge. & now you made it an acual map the looks good & not messy.
umm i find this quite simple most people know how to forge this you just added pallets for look. also, u can use a deployable cover instead of barriers,the deployable cover is much more stable and won't get in the way.
Yes, I realize that this is a very simple map I think I've already mentioned that. If I could merge everything together on say Avalance or Standoff, that'd be terrific. BUT I can't. This is the only map that allows the rocket to work because no other non DLC maps have open boxes. Here's why I didn't use deployable cover. I reralize Icould have used a deployable cover and considered it my first option BUT I instead used the barriers for people who would like to use it instead. If you don't like it, that's fine just delete them, put in a grav lift and use the cover. But I made it easier for people so they don't have to go to the trouble of putting in the barriers. Understand?
I've made a map like this, but without all the asthetics. A little tip: att teleporters at the death barier so you can stay in the air and not die.
