CTF/Assault games immediately end

Do you have at least 2 players... lol?

 

in forge, start the map. go to monitor, press start, go to Change Gametype, choose CTF or Assault, place your spawns/returns, then go back.

 

The requirements are spawn and starting points.

 

im not sure about that. i think the game will be able to choose a random respawn point, but with no plant or flag spawn point, it wont be able to run

 

Exactly. And if you already have your spawn/return points et up, check and make sure they are set to defender/attacker teams. Not absolutely necessary depending on how your map is set up, but I always do that just in case.

 

Well, yeah, but in order to get things the way you want, you'd need to place them.
