Blazen, I hope you've tried the map out before saying that... Most of the people I've played with (and heard from) don't have a big problem with the teleoprters. If you have a real problem with them, though, DL xxtexashornxx's dodgeball map. I don't like dealing with the pit in the middle and the high gravity, personally, but it's really a personal choice between the two maps. Or better yet, DL both and play whatever you fancy at the time. I like mine better for four reasons: 1) you can still jump with 100% gravity 2) no pit in the middle 3) I actually like the new ways you have to play dodgeball with the teleporters included... it's awful fun to keep coming out above the other team and bombarding them with nades. 4) I think the map looks cool (how can you say no to the green glowi-ness and the stadium seating?) Obviously, there will be people who like xxTexashornxx's solution to the problem better. There are sacrifices and benefits with both, it's up to you to decide which works for you. (Plus, I assure you that you can play dodgeball effectively on the Green Monster, despite the teleporters... I even gave you enhanced radar)
actually, you don't necessarily need to get rid of the flares or grenade jumping, you could simply move the teleporters slightyly higher
Might be worth a try. But it also might make it easier to slip into the wrong portal set. What I really need is 2 more sets of teleporters.
This is the best dodgebal map that I have played on foundry. PS:Cosmic Rick you have been dishing out tremendous amounts of quality maps I think you should apply to be a guilder.
I'm glad You guys like it. I'm just hoping I'm struck with inspiration as to how to stop portal jumping here. Then this would be the end-all dodgeball map.

It was a fun map to play on. I really like the way you used the teleporters to make it so peple cant get to ther other side. Although the teleporters helped, they were sort of annoying while trying to see your target but great map
only problem i had was since the lvl changes if somebody backed up all tthe way to the back wall a box could spawn in front of them and they couldnt move.
Yeah, those are the sacrifices of trying to make a cool map. I gave everyone enhanced radar in the gametype so that they would always know where opponents are, despite the teleporters. And I know about the box spawn thing. It sucks when somebody's all the way back there and gets trapped. Remember to stay in front of the cones!
Wanted to say that I had a lot of fun playing this last night. I haven't played any dodgeball because of my lack of skill with grenades, but this is great nonetheless. I gave your Bungie thread a bump, too.

Haha, thanks, guys. Sage, my first map post was Murderblender, and I did not do it correctly. This was number two, and I had learned by then. Jayn0, I hope you've checked out the rest of what I have to offer (8 other maps, or something like that). Frigoc1, yeah, I'm not a fan of baseball in general, bu the name fit. Sorry if that preculeds you from downloading. lol. Squid, practice on this, then. My average grenade sticks per game doubled after a week of testing this map. Andy, is your map better, or is my map better? I'm so confused.
