The Total Gamer and Mindzeye Studios™ are proud to present the Gears of War 2: Immortalized 2v2 Execution Tournament from December 12-14, 2008. An assortment of prizes, including both a Cold Cast Platinum Marcus Fenix statue and a Cold Cast Bronze Dom Santiago statue from Mindzeye Studios™, will be awarded to the top three teams. Registration begins immediately at thetotalgamer.com and ends on December 7th, with competition running from December 12-14. Once home and away teams are randomly chosen by The Total Gamer, the Execution-style matches will be a fight for the best three out of five maps on predetermined settings. Hey guys, I recommend if your into GoW2, get into this. Some great prizes to be won, and no entrance fee. It makes me wish I was good at GoW...
My only question is why do they make Dom Bronze and Marcus Platinum? They're both extremely important characters, but they make Dom feel like a tag-along or a stray puppy that follows Marcus. Also, screw getting Marcus or Dom, I want that damn Boomer statue. That's epicness etched in bronze right there. Last Edit: It seems as though they made both Platinum and Bronze versions of all three characters. I still don't see why they're giving away a Bronze Dom instead of a Platinum. =p
