    Hey guys this is the only map that I have ever been really proud of… my friends and I like to play 2v2 with MLG rules but you can do whatever… here is a video cuz there are a lot of corridors that would be hard to understand with just pictures… here is the link to the map… - JakeyFreeHa

    Awesome map dude! The layout reminds me alot about Prisoner from halo one. It was an cool map! Everything seems to be smoothly interlocked. And that takes forever to do. The weapon layout is great to. Just one thing though. The rockets would seem overpowering if it had a spare clip. Does it? Other wise, great job!

    looks pretty good it mght need some work heck ill dl and try it out.

    some suggestions would be to flip the bridges upside down for aesthetics.
    everything looks clean even though there seems to be no interlocking or geomerging

    i played on it 1v1. the map played great in my opinion, but i think some interlocking and flipping the bridges would make the map alot cleaner looking. The interlocking isnt really neccessary, as the map plays well without it, but it would give it a much neater presentation.

    The map seems a little small but I still love how complex this map seems to be. It's almost like a slight mini-maze competitive map where sometimes you don't know where the path is taking you. In other words it seems sort of confusing but I mean it in a good way of course because I think that can bring a lot to offer in gameplay.

    DUDE this map is 4/5 without muce interlox and I know it's hard to make floors and make them neat and tidy without giving the map a vramped feeling.
    If you made a V.2 with geo merging so nades don't go under it would probably be a 5/5

    um.. i dont even see any interlocking.. can u show me? Otherwise, it looks linke a great, unique map.. also, put da boxes upsIdown

    ^Ha there's not even interlocking on this. I do agree though it has a nice layout and kinda reminds me of CE Prisoner. It could just be prettied up a bit. 5/5 layout 3/5 forging because everything is so cleanly placed.

    I have DL'd, I have played. This could pick up a feature with some work. A couple of things I would say to redo (beside interlocks, merges) is up in the reciever node boxes up top, I would put only one fusion coil in them, on maybe 20 second respawn. This would prevent cheap teleporter spawn kills, but still keeping a way to flush someone out of the box. I would also take a look at Nexn, Ivory, and xZonkeds' Xyience(link soon), to see how to make an effective 4 story map without hitting the barrier when you jump, if you wanna put in that work on this, though it doesn't even really affect much. This map is a gem at any perspective. I would also set this up for all gametypes, that just makes any bias toward it a lot better. And I would be honored to help construct the v2 for this, mainly because I really have been itching to build something, I just haven't been able to get any ideas.

    Your map also reminds me alot of Prisoner. While the layout already seems good, as people have already said, interlocking would help clean this up.

    This map has a sweet layout and some nice weapon spawns but could use some interlocking 4/5. Also the layout is a lot like prisoner but with but with a different feel.

    ya hence the name "Hostage" (synonym for prisoner)... i made this map because i wanted a smaller version of prisoner for halo 3 but i lack the ability or the time to forge things so feel free to take what i have done and turn it into ur own... thanx for the comments!!!
