    Corridor is a very small, symmetrical map that is both fun, and with 1 vs 1, does not have spawn killing, which is surprising for a map of this size. This map has incorporated interlocking, but no geo-merging as none was needed, the interlocking is not flawless, and the boxes around the outside are not interlocked. Because of the maps size, Slayer is the only gametype that has guaranteed good gameplay, CTF can be played, but as there is only one person to carry/defend the flag, makes for dull gameplay. So enjoy my first posted map, more will soon follow.

    Weapon List:
    Battle Rifle x2 (1 spare clip)
    SMG x4 (2 spare clips)
    Shotgun x1 (0 spare clips)
    Plasma Grenades x8
    Spike Grenades x4
    Radar Jammer x1 (you'd be surprised how effective it is)
    Power Drain x1
    Bubble Shield x2

    Note: There are some changes from the pictures, The snipers have been removed, replaced with the battle rifles resting on the fence walls, Rocket replaced with shotgun, shotguns spawns under the wall floors replaced with power drain and radar jammer, fusion coils removed from former sniper spawn

    There has also been Man Cannons placed to create truly strange grenade battles and to stop people from escaping from the battle rifle spawn.

    Spawns have also been changed/removed to decrease spawn killing

    Frags have been added to the Step at each base, plasmas and spikes swapped, spikes now spawn behind A and B signs and plasmas spawn behind doors

    This is me against my friend who was playing with me at the time, he didn't know the power weapons of the map, and i did, so it was utter OWNAGE!!!!

    the map looks nice man, its got a very nice layout.

    however, there are a few things id recommend about your post:

    - make the text slightly smaller, so its easier for everyone to read
    - take pictures of the map not in forge mode, so the spawn points arent there
    - please leave the title of the thread to only the name of the map, even if its gonna change.

    Can you be a bit more specific? Like what part of the interlocking and where could it use some geo-merging?
    EDIT: I also mentioned in the post that interlocking wasnt perfect


    Sorry about that, I should know better but i cant make any more changes until i can get back on my xbox, which will be in a while.

    understandable. the only thing that was a rule here is the thread title, and you fixed that.

    the others were just personal suggestions i had from experience in posting my own maps, and knowing others preferences.

    One thing I noticed, I looks very easy to grenade jump out of the map. Sorry I didnt read the post if you said that you didnt take the pic of the layer on the boxes.
    Anyway, the map has a great layout. I love small maps, cuz their are so action packed, but I also like to have some cover. There isnt a lot of cover in your map, so their will be spwn killing a lot.

    The forging however was great. Overall 3/5

    I like this map, but one thing I would try to do is merge the rocket bridge further in to the underlying structure so that there isn't a big crack there. Otherwise, good post, nice map. 8/10

    shot gun? sniper? Rockets? seems like a lot for a 1 on 1 map
    3.5/5 but it looks like anyone could get out is there even a roof

    The map looks really great, but you can easily grenade jump out of the map at the spawns. Other than that the interlox looks great, and gameplay sould run smoothly!

    ill give ya a 3.5/5

    well the map itself is very nice- good job.
    it still does look escapeable.
    and you said that the BR's were replaced with snipers and shotguns with rockets- i would say that you should have left them the old way, it doesnt look big enough for rockets and snipers.

    I'm actually happy that the pictures were taken in forge (although if you were banned from xbox, you probably wouldn't be able to use your bnet account; whatever), and I can give you some sound advice about the spawn points before I get the chance to run around on it (and it's queued; I'll come back later and give more feedback).

    From your overview picture:

    I can see that your spawn points on the bridge that face each other should be moved 90 in either direction. What you want to achieve when spawning is to allow a player about 3-5sec of time to run forward unhindered on a relatively level surface. As it stands, you'll fall off after a couple of steps without turning right away after spawn. You've got a few other spawn points over by the back wall that could benefit from some directional tweaking as well. One thing that I do is stand in the direction of where I would like to travel, place a spawn point right under me, and rotate it where I'm looking.

    Anyway, I'll have more feedback for you when I actually get in the map.

    Alrighty, first let me talk about weapon placement. From just this one picture, I see a shotty, a sniper, maybe two idk, a BR, a sticky, and a spike grenade, maybe two. Those are all power weapons, both players had them....big no no.....

    As for breaking out of the map, one wall wont do it. On a map like this, I suggest shooting up all the walls to the invisible barrier limit...

    I see that you say it is a good 1v1, but it is so small, even with like 2v2 there are too many power weapons. I saw rockets, shotgun, and a sniper. Shotgun and rockets would be devastating with this size of a map, I would definately remove at least one of them.

    Not the most original layout, but still looks good. Some of the stuff could be cleaned up a little bit, but I'd say it's a pretty good map!

    Hey everyone, thanx for looking at my first map, if most of you had read the post properly, you would know that this is not the final version, and there are certain things that have been changed

    for one the shotgun's spawn in the middle where the rocket was, and there is only one, the rocket is gone, the BR are replacing the snipers, and there are man cannons behins the boxes that prevent grenade jumping from the map

    So please read the post next time

    The map looks very small, but it doesnt deduct from what looks like hard work on what you've put into this. Looks very clean and fun, 3.5/5
