i really have wanted a Bioshock type of map for some time so im going to make one for every one Here are some of my ideas i am probable going to make some towers connected and have fence walls to connect towers with shield doors on the outside to represent water and to spawn you spawn in a teleporter like when you spawn in the game in the (cant remember the things that clone you in bioshock ) i will maybe make it able for these game variants some relate to game other's not so much Variants: Vip: (killing atlas) assault: (planting bomb on generator things) infection: (basically splicers trying to kill you) Slayer territories oddball king of the hill juggernaut: (big Daddy) spawns with (sword or gravity hammer) or (sniper or spartan laser) big daddy's in the game had a gun type thing but i am leaning towards sword he would defiantly have a big over shield with low speed and decreased jumping i don't know for weapons i was thinking maybe some assault rifles (machine gun),maulers or shotguns (for shotgun),magnum (for pistol),maybe human sniper (to represent cross bow),a rocket launcher with only 2 shots in it or brute shot for grenade launcher,maybe alien sniper or plasma rifle/pistol to represent electric plasmid,gravity hammer for telekinesis plasmid,custom power up with increased damage for different bullet rounds or upgrade weapons,over shield for health pack,active camouflage for the camouflage plasmid,flamethrower for chemical thrower tell me what you think about this idea
Maybe the big daddies should have weapons more like the ones they has in Bioshock. The rosie had a brute shot like weapon and the bouncer had a drill (I would use a machine gun turret). That would play out nicely. For infection, I would suggested setting it to alpha zombie (big daddys) and the weaker zombies could represent splicers. Then just give the players weapons that are found in bioshock. Suggestions: Magnum- Revolver SMG- Tommy gun Shotgun- Shotgun Sniper- Crossbow (it is a sniping weapon in bioshock) Brute Shot- Grenade Launcher Flamethrower/sentinel beam (if you want them to keep mobility)- chemical thrower Fire Bomb- Incinerate (plasmid) PM me when you are finished
i will i think the alpha zombie idea will go really good the only thing is i didnt want people dual wielding weapons other then that i would use smgs fire bombs would go great and sticky (what about plasma for electricity)
Sounds great, I think plasmas would work nicely for electricity. I also forgot to suggest a VIP variant where the VIP's could represent the little sisters and the players on their team should be big daddys.
this is turning out to be a better idea then i thought it would be so i am planning to begin construction ether tomorrow or Friday
