Instantly Respawning Weapons

    Hello.

    I am creating a fairly complicated gametype with rules, and there is one issue that I need to try and resolve.

    Before leaving a one way spawn room, I need one team to be able to grab a Sword that is instantly respawning. They mustn't run out of swords, or the gameplay style is entirely broken. Unfortunately, I have yet to find a way of making swords respawn instantly after being picked up, and I was wondering if anyone here knew how to do so?

    I've tried quite a few different methods, but can't find a way to make the sword respawn quickly. Drop spawns work, but they're still not very fast at all. I need a gun that'll respawn almost instantly after being picked up.

    If you have all the swords drop spawn at 10 seconds with the swords on instant respawn , you may get an 'instant spawn' sword. I don't know if that will work, but it's worth a shot. That is if you don't need swords anywhere else on the map.

    Tell me if that works I'd like to know.

    It only works with guns that have clips...

    Hmm...I'll try. Deathshadow, can you explain what you mean please? I'm afraid your previous comment isn't really useful as of yet.

    Set the runtime maximum of your sword to the amount of swords you have on the map, and that will in effect give you instant respawning weapons. This works for every other movable item as well.

    Although I don't know why you'd need to have instantly respawning swords. Seems a bit much; they deplete pretty slowly. The standard 30sec would be more than enough IMO, but it's your map and I have no idea what you're doing.

    you could have every sword in one wepond holder with a 10 sec re spawn, so that it seems as though it instantly re spawns, but it is really just another sword.

    i can see reason for it squid tho i am not an infection fan AT ALL... but like having to go back to get swords would be cool except... they take like 2 months of slashing b4 they go out....

    but try dropping them run tim max all the way... 10 sec a peice... thats the best method

    You could also do a VIP gametype to make people with swords. Granted, scoring control isn't as precise on the VIP gametype, but I would honestly consider making the sword thing through the gametype and not the spawn points...
