Like music based games? How about music based games that use your entire library of music? If this is you then let me introduce you to Audiosurf. Audiosurf is a game that shines through it's multiple influences. First and foremost is the music element, I mean who wouldn't want a game that features a soundtrack built entirely by you? The answer is clearly nobody, duuuuh!! Outside of that the best way to describe the game is a balanced mix of guitar hero like gameplay and race inspired speed runs a'la F-Zero. The best part is that it runs on basically any computer and costs a mere $9.99! That's basically infinite replayability for the cost of a cheese pizza. Yummy! There is a nice selection of gametypes included, my favorite being Pro Mono. This is the most basic gametype that has you dodging the grey "cars" and picking up the colored ones for combos and point multipliers. Others include a randomized Vegas gametype, a multiple ship gametype, and a few others. The game also includes world wide leaderboards that can be set to your region. That means you can compete against players from your city or from Tokyo and see who is the best of the best! I highly recommend this game for anyone who is a fan of musis based games or speed/racing games. Plus, it's trippy as hell to look at. Here's a link to the site and a gameplay video for those who want a quick look. But I urge you to download the demo and try it out yourself, you won't be disappointed. Haha, figured you'd like the song :0) It's an addicting game and does really messed up things to my eyes lol.
Only just discovered this game... it's ****ing awesome. I've tried out loads of songs in a short space of time, but those that do it for me are fast paced enough to send me into a trance, but not too insane to frustrate me out of it. Yes, I realise this is an epic necropost (luckily I searched at the last minute to see if a thread had already been posted), but I think it's justified. I put together a vid featuring one of your tracks, Silence. Brokaw is fun to ride, you'll be pleased to hear (and see) below. If anyone's got any recommendations for tracks that are a blast to ride, please let me know! I'm hooked. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pA050R_1EnU&fmt=18Watch in HQ.
