I'm just in the middle of placing spawns when all of a sudden the item limit pops up. I had been using the method in 101 to avoid it, though I had never actually gotten the message until this point. Saving as new map upon getting this message didn't fix it. I am sure I hadn't saved at it either. Anyone know whats up? Or a way to fix it without deleting too much stuff. I need to finish points and place a few more zones.

the method in the forging 101 thread does not work. I save and quit float my objects more than a third of the time and when i tried it, it didnt do ****. I think the only way is to cut down on your starting points. Set only one or two starting points per base but maybe 8 or so closeby neutral points. That should help you cut down on items. other than that you could maye delete or move some fusion coils if any and delete some random scenery objects.

my suggestion would be to delete frag grenades seeing as tough you start with them. also delete any unnecessary scenery this should help if not than idk.

if the map is based on 2 teams then you shouldnt if its purely FFA or multi-teamed, then hes right delete them. you should usually put a pair of frag greandes nearby each teams base it may come in handy and adds balance to grenade placement.

DON'T compromise weapons and gameplay for aesthetics. Look around at whatever little things can be taken out. Perhaps that pallet isn't needed. Or maybe that structure could be made with 2 boxes instead of three. Find something you know for sure you will not need. I went through similar thing with Squared Circle. It was essentially: delete something, place something.

Leave the nades. Sure you spawn with them but it helps keep the competitiveness(I presume you're making a competitive map) if you have frag nades in a set place that people know about.

Don't look for glitches to save your map... LAG!!!!!!!! As Linibudix said: Gameplay comes first.

And be sure you don't overdue the limits to much. It will cause lag.

Isn't it right that spawn points don't require any money?

Hmm guess it's back to harmonexus, delete what isn't necessary. I have some scenery I can delete, maybe I can cut back on a few grenades, there were a lot in my opinion. I'll move some spawn points, since I have 60 and they aren't covering the whole map. Starting points are already limited. Slayer and CTF zones are in, so for remaining gametypes any I shouldn't bother with out of:

    King
    Ball
    Bomb
    VIP
Territories (I was debating on skipping it, it's kinda slow and boring for 2v2)
