I am sorry Tinginho, but you must not have stayed until after the credits. Spoiler Marcus Fenix's father says "Can anyone hear me? What have you done!" The game obviously never elaborated on what happened to the queen and why does she appear human, what the hell is with that research facility, and what the hell is up with Fenix Senior? There are many unanswered questions still left in the story. In addition, do you honestly beleive Microsoft will just stop making a game series after the second game, when it is their biggest sell on 360? Also, that was only a key locust stronghold that we destroyed. There are alot of other ones just like it all over the place on the planet, and other captured human cities. Besides, I bet the flood had as much impact on the Locust Horde as did the lightmass bomb.
As the Queen was saying at the end, not to be exact with the quote but basically, she implied that the sinking of Jacinto WAS a faux plan. She said that it doesnt always turn out as planned. This implies that the Queen and locust tricked humanity into destroying their last big stronghold for them. She knew that it wouldnt destroy the Locust, and that now the war can be finished for the Queen because... A: The lambent are basically gone now, as they were all there when it was flooded. B: Humanity has no more strongholds. C: The locust still have plenty of them. If it was also any hint, I think the fact Ben Carmine said there are 4 carmines hints there will be at least 4 games. This is just a guess, but one carmine a game. (Pray the others both dont die lol...)
I just beat that level with the razor hail but why does a Carmine always die I feel bad. I wonder what the locust queen looks like.
I think the locust were a creation to end the war between humans, they were a power swing to one side, but they lost control of them. The imulsion seems to have an adverse effect on the locust as well, made not anticipated.
Spoiler Ye you guys are right. I didnt watch the credits even though i knew all to well that Most good games have endings after credits. The story line in Gears is so confusing for me. It's like batman or something. I thought i had understood the plot,but after reading all of these posts i realize that i am wrong. But im going to take a crack at this. I dont think that the lambent are destroyed unless they were water was there weakness. In that scene somewhere towards the end of the game where we were making it down to the queen and Cole shot that lambent and then goo came out. Well that could happen when all that rubble and water comes crashing down on them. Lambent mean moving lightly over a surface. And in that scene we saw some sort of goo come out and move lightly over the walls and stuff. It could be possible that the lambent are controlling the locust by going into there blood and controlling them. That is my educated guess anyway. Spoilers YAY

I have yet to play a game with a full set of people, every game I play in consists of like 3 people from FH and a random person. Come on guys, lets set up a 10 player multiplayer soon. The only thing cool about Bots is that they dont ***** when you take their weapon
