o yea do any of u no about the halo wars limited edition when u buy it u get 3 halo 3 mythic map pack map. this was posted at bungie.net
chao, make sure not to double post. And you only get part of the Mythic Map pack when you buy Halo Wars Limited Edition. Anyways, I'm not familiar with Halo 1 much, can anyone show pictures of Death Island, Ice Fields, etc?
Death Island: It was awesome because there was always epic battles at the top part of the island with banshees, hogs, and people drive tanks up there too and if you really want to be creative you go around and sneak up on the enemy. Ice Fields: More epic battles on that bridge with people fighting for control of it because it has teh rockets and the bottom is risky driving because of the ice. Danger canyon: Lots of fights in all the tunnels leading up to those 2 large bridges at the end has snipers and at the bottom it's like the vehicular battle rats nest has Basically sais gearbox knows how to make BTB maps
I sure hope that they stay true to the gameplay of Halo 4 and maybe add a bit more to it. I love the way halo 3 gameplay is and they better keep Forge and the customization options for games on it. That is what makes Halo 3 so unique.
I wish they could, but I have no faith in them. Bungie is just to BA to copy from lol. I actully feel bad for them. They are going to have to make a BA game or the Halo fan base will go crazy lol.
I'll be honest and say that, while it's good to leave the franchise ended where the original developer saw fit to end it, I'm excited to see what Gearbox is going to put out in terms of the game. I imagine that Halo 4 will offer an entirely revamped gameplay system more similar in feeling to what we see in the Valve games. At the same time, though, when you switch developers, canon tends to be tossed out the window. I shudder at the thought of Master Chief encountering the Forerunners as a completely hostile, non-human force, or at the thought of them trying to give John-117 a face. There's a number of travesties that they are highly capable of committing, that I'm almost hesitant to let it out of Bungie's hands, unless Gearbox swears on their firstborn children that they'll be sure to hire on the original story writers for the next game, so they don't trample over what's already been done...
bungie may very well help in the development, not only watching over the project(like DTL said), but possibly in the "Forge" or extra capabilities for it. on account of from what i know of Gearbox has never made a "Forge".
