XENON 21 Download I was bored so I started drawing a racetrack on a sheet of paper. It looked pretty good when I finished it, so I put it to work in Forge. The result, in my opinion, turned out pretty well. And if you know me well enough, you know this isn't just some regular racetrack with 1 big jump and 4 turns. I put some interesting stuff in here. To explain it with words, here we go, So you start with 5 mongooses balanced on their wheels (Press RB to flip them) and a 2-way node for those who either didn't get to a mongoose fast enough, or who just want to watch rather than race. The teleporter puts you in an enclosed box high up to see pretty much the whole track. If you are one that's racing, you have an imminent choice to make: A or B. Both sides with the same driving skill end up in the same place so it's simply a matter of what you can handle (lots of turns or one HUGE turn.) when you meet up with the other pathway, you are heading for the wall so you turn and do a U turn. Then this is where the most fun happens. There's a receiver on the ground placed for a boost. If you hit the receiver node, you get a small, but efficient boost. I'm sure you wanna know what the hell I'm talking about, but when you play, you'll see. You make another turn to hit more boosters which bring you to a ramp that takes you to the back rooms. you go straight through the hallway and at the next turn, that's the finish line! Go down the next ramp and you're back at the beginning again. So enough chatter, here's some pics. Qued for DL.. The spiral stair case part looks pretty sweet. I will have to race it after I get home from work today. I will let you know what I think then. Good job.
The spiral stair case is simply amazing. I like this map a lot except for the seventh picture is bland. The second picture with the fence wall geomerged into the ground looks good and makes the racetrack smooth. Great job with the map, I hope to see more of yours later.
This could DEFINITELY be featured, but I think you need to add more stuff to it. Sure, that spiral is awesome, but the straightaway could be more interesting. If you added some more structures, I can definitely see a feature. I'm sure you can do it, your forging abilities are amazing.
That spiral is the main attraction to this map and I can see why. It looks very beautiful and im sure its smooth. I dont usually download racing maps but this one looks a bit aestheticly pleasing.
Wow the first picture blew me away Ive been trying to do that forever and you did that so perfectly. I mean the interlocking and merging is so precise very nice job. I would definitely download this map. Great forging skills 5/5 from very nice job. Keep on forging!!
Holy **** this just got cued. The spiral staircase thing is really a first. Not to mention the boosters were a great idea. It's just like mario kart lol! If you do a couple things like merge some of your ramps into the ground slightly and a couple other minor fixups, this is feature worthy. Great job sir.
Wow thanks everybody I guess this Forge Hub thing isn't a bad idea after all I'll definitely look into a v2 or something and try and fix everything up and add a little more. Oh and for the game type, it works just fine with the RACETRACKS variant. Again, thanks for all the kind words people
Dude this map also rocks. You happen to be a god when it comes to spirals(here and in Rainbow) . The rest of this map is also fun, even though foundry racing maps usually don't appeal to me. Great map and nothing I can find is sloppy, but then again I don't nit pick.
Awesome dude thanks! Also yea I saw your edit and I think I will do Yoshi's Circuit. It will be much more epic and I have a good vehicle idea as well. Get back to ya when I can.
The design of this track very unique compared to most race tracks, especially the large spiral (which is obviously my favorite part of the track). It seems you utilized ground level a lot more than the usual race track though. Judging by the item count from the pictures, it looks like you may have more objects on the map to place. I think you could possibly extend the track, but of course an added on portion to the track would have to be floating in the air. Think about it.
Ehh I wish it were so, but unfortunately I had to use an unlimited money glitch when I was about 90% done with the track, so everything is used up. Well..there's more items, but for some reason I can't spawn them anymore. I must've messed up the infinite money glitch somehow. Either way, there's nothing I can add other than spawn points and other things that cost 0$.
Well that stinks, this why I always use the money gltich from the beginning, because it never hurts me it only helps.
spiral staircase=epic win. I love how many maps you've been putting out there as well +rep and friend request for that alone.
The beginning part of the map looks very nice and has epic originaliity. But after looking at the pics below it looks like you rushed to get the map done. I would work on a v2 making probably another tower. Nice job though
Thanks dude Friend request accepted! And thanks for the +rep! Thanks man and yea I probably could've done better, but my main focus, believe it or not, was on the booster idea that I did. So I wanted the last part to be pretty open and more focused on speed rather than maneuvering/structures. The map turned out exactly the way I wanted though. I actually drew it out on a piece of paper before I made it and it looks very close to what I wrote. I might make a v2, but I might not. My next racetrack I'm planning on making is Yoshi's Circuit from Double Dash.
