Aperture Created by: Matty Gametypes Supported: All Gametypes Recommended Gameytypes: 1 Flag, Neutral Bomb, 3 Ball, Team Snipers Recommended Players: 4-14 Aperture is easily Matty's finest forge to date. He has used the whole of Foundry magnificently in a symmetrical map suited for all gametypes under the sun. A stunning design can only be complemented by Matty's signature flare, using some never before seen structures and techniques such as his sniper towers and the ghost racks beneath. Great balance and a wide array of weaponry keep matches exciting and fresh while still maintaining a high level of competitiveness. A map that uses all of Foundry, supports all gametypes, and produces such fantastic gameplay is truly a gem. Aperture shines in both symmetrical games as well as one sided games making good use of Forge's symmetry options. With matches of epic proportions that continually come right down to the wire, Aperture should be a mainstay on every forger's hard drive. So glad this got featured. I loved playing it before. Nice Aesthetics and amazingly fun gameplay. I love how you incoorperated the mancannons to get into the map too.
I'm very glad this got featured. For a great gameplay focused map, this one has great aesthetics as well. I really am sad that this will be Matty's last map. Good way to commemorate it though.
Nice map!!! This is a one of a kind map and your right i've haven't seen some of these buildings before. Would download but xbox has red ring.
My first impression was that the map was a bit bland, but after looking at the original thread, I see many nice aesthetic and gameplay features that add to the maps charm. Quite impressive. I must remember to check out some of Matty's other maps...
Eh, I never liked the gameplay on this map. Sure, it's amazing looking, but I never thought it was that fun.
This map is very good. Excellent gameplay and wonderful aethetic features. This was the first map I had seen use the geomerged grav lifts, and the ghosts suspended by the windows is a original idea. Only problem I could see is that the ghosts were a bit overpowering. Maybe throw in a couple more plasmas or some spike grenades. A fun overall map. 9/10
I had a blast playing this nice job the walls that are slanted weer sweet to look at, and overall it was a fun map
Definitely a well deserved/earned feature. Great everything. For a leaving piece it sure is a great one. Congrats Matty, let this add to your long list of features.
The man-cannons are so fun to go off of in slayer, I must say this is a very well deserved feature Matty. Great aesthetics and the ghost spawns are very creative.
Matty didn't I tell you this would be featured? I was right! As allways I loved testing it with you and the ghost spawn is epic. Nice Job!
Yes, it looks a little bland until you look at the odd structures and the map layout. The geomerging and interlocking look just like it should. And slow down with the features lol. But when you choose them, you choose the right ones. Congrats Matty.
Very nice i love KOTH maps and this one is very nicely built! Could use more pics of the overall layout but i think i'll Dl and go find out myself.
i was starting to think taht this wouldn't get featured. I thoguht it would and it did. Great map, great interlokcin and geomerging. Gratz on the feature
i dl this about a week or 2 ago and i played it with my friend it has really good aesthetics too the candy canes are really well made and gameplay was epic also. It sucks i couldnt break this map. good job matty.
Ah yes, I saw this when matty released it. A really fine map. It's so different from most maps 2. I love it, deserved the feature.
Great job on the feature. I knew after I played it with a couple of buddies that it would eventually get featured. The gameplay was smooth and very entertaining.
I'm actually quite suprised that this got featured. i mean it is nice and all but this is not mattys best work. I mean of the work that is featured. this was a very popular thread never the less.
wow i saw this map when it first came out and was amazed and instantly knew it would be featured. great job matty. you earned this feature
