This will be the First Map I post On Forgehub, Inspired by the Foundry Race Map Stepping stones comes Arctic Shelf. This Map wraps around Avalanche and consists of Jumps, drops, turns, and tunnelling your way through track Notice: PLEASE do not get made at me for interlocking. I SUCK at interlocking and you would not want to even look at this map if i did. With that Out of the way if i do get the reveiws I will attempt a V2 but I'm gonna need some help if interlockings involved You start here You can take the Mancannon from the Base to the Mongooses Your First Jump (Shield doors are there to prevent getting to aother part of track) Overview of this section of map Watchtower Drop Weaving through tunnels Going up Fasten your seatbelts! It's going to be a Bumpy Ride!! Turn off at I-95 This Way We install railings for your safety Almost there! FINISH!! And here's where you'll begin all ovr again, check out the stylish mystic blue crate (Yes he did make it) Download Arctic Shelf Bungie.net : Bungie Online : Halo 3 File Details The Game type Is Racetracks, but before your begin I strongly suggest maing it 5 laps. wow, nice name and map... another good one on avalanche! i would dl but gotta D-lete some crap... howdya get the mystic blue crate?
pretty cool. nice to see someone make a fun race map. i generally dont like the normal race maps with large bunds and blah blah blah. theyre so boring. but this one actually brings a challange. the blue crate is pretty smart to use as the finish line. 8/10
put the box in the path of a built in avalanche man-cannon. u might have to play with it a bit to get it right. it can work with vehicles and other stuff.
personaly, im not a big fan of floating race tracks cause raely are they fun. the track is so thin that it is mor of an ubjective to stay on the track than to actualy race. i would like to have seen more interlocking. ill give it a 2 or a 3
Sorry to tell you this but it is pretty unoriginal, and is not as clean as this one guy ho has three different maps like this! I would suggest you put the forge techniques found in forging 101 section and put them even into a racing map! This post is good, so you dogged a bullet a bit right there! -Irish
