I see people with "member" or "full member" or "guilder" or "active member" or "staff" I justed wanted to know what the difference between them are.
basically, staff - site staff guilder - forge guilders, check the link that says "The Guilders" on the Navigation menu. The variations of member are just based on post count.
Full Member really isn't real. If you look at my profile with 3d glasses painting with black, you'll see what it really says.
Ok I have noticed some elected positions that I would like to know what they mean. I have an understanding of some so here is what I think I know, and the parentheses are how I think you become that. Administrator- The king, the leader, the president (You were a creator of the site) Guilder- You make good maps and have the in the Gallery immediately (Submit an application) Moderator- You police the forums (Being a helpful, knowledgeable and active member on the forums) Staff- Below administrator, but above everyone else (Being an awesome moderator/guilder) Respected member- will kneel to you (Being Frankie )
In my opinion, the problem is that you're looking to become one. :-/ According to the philosophy held by this board (and I'm basing my impressions off all the locked threads), the admins don't take kindly to people searching out jobs. They award them according to merit and need. I hope that helps.
Yeah, AJ should be a mod if Forge Hub get's more traffic, but he's made like, what, 4 topics on this.
Have not. This wasn't about post count related information. I just want to get a feel for the site, to know who does what. I think I have my answers, since no one corrected the descriptions of what they do. Except for staff, what do staff people do?
Ok then I have all my answers, and I know who to respect and who to act like I respect, but deep down inside you don't really respect them. Like that guy at work, as soon as he leaves the break room your like "man that guy is such a douche bag. (can I say that on the forums, well I guess it would be censored if I couldn't, I hope...) JK, I respect all of you guys (or do I...(or do I do I... (Do I?))) Yah I do. Ok we can lock this thread now, thanks for all the information.
