Right, i'm looking for some good software to cap videos from YouTube and the like. So i can save them in a regular .avi / .mpeg / whatever format then possibly transfer them to a portable media player. Can some of you good fellows please recommend me some software. Preferably free and known to be clean (i.e, no adware/viruses/**** in the install). Thanks in advance.
I'm not sure if it's what you mean but Download helper allows you to download videos from Youtube into .flv or whatever VLC can watch. It's an add-on for Firefox by the way. Video download helper.
Online FLV Converter or http://vixy.net/ Bonus because it's simple and easy... Also the converting is on their side so it's much faster. I haven't tried this one personally but there are tones more like this, simple google search will do it.
Do those only transfer to .flv though? I think on Zune I need an .avi file. Is there anyway to change it with those capturing programs?
Aye, i know i could easily find some, i was just hoping some people around here had used some and could recommend any particular ones. Thanks though
