    Map Description
    As my very first map here on Forge Hub, I present Sniper Field. It is a field with scattered barriers across it, providing cover for the zombies. High up in a box built out of the Foundry crane sits a sniper (the last man standing). The zombies must make their way across the battlefield under sniper fire to a set of man cannons. These man cannons lead to a sniper rifle for one lucky zombie. Behind the sniper rifle is a custom powerup with a duration of 3 seconds that boosts the zombie's jumping ability so that they can jump onto a double box and into a teleporter. This teleporter sends them to a half-shielded box in the back of the field. The zombie has four shots at the last man standing. Use them wisely, for if you fail, there are fusion coils in the box for you to commit suicide and start all over again. There are three rounds, each three minutes long. If the zombies infect the sniper, they gain 2 points, and the round is over. If the zombies fail, the last man standing gets a 1 point bonus, and wins the round.

    This is my first professional map here, so give me a little slack, but ANY suggestions/criticism are welcome (however, flaming is not). I hope that Sniper Field will provide many fun custom games for everyone. I also have a very important last note: When you select the gametype Prey, go to game options and set the initial zombie count to one less than your party. Best played with 8 players. Other than that, it should be smooth sailing. Enjoy!

    pics look good, but i think you may have this in the wrong section really
    this looks more like a mini game than an actual casual game map
    but other than that it looks really good.. ive actually hav been brainstorming a way to make a map similiar to this...
    but i think its a very good jus in the wrong catergory...

    Hooray feedback! I was a little torn on whether or not this would be considered a minigame. I eventually decided on a casual map because of the relaxed gameplay, but I think it may need to be a minigame because there's no actual fighting...I'll wait for more comments and if majority rules, I'll change it accordingly. Anyways, thanks for responding, I was questioning if anyone saw...

    I think that this could go in minigames or stay in casual. It's your choice. The layout kind of reminds me of noob arena, and the start sounds like what I was initially thinking of using. I don't usually do infection gametypes unless they play really differently, and it looks like this one might. This may have been done before, but I haven't seen it. And it seems like there's a little bit of teamwork and strategy involved. I like it. You might think about expanding on this idea if you can find a way to do it. 2 competing human snipers, maybe.

    Hmm...that's a nice idea. Nevertheless I'm probably going to end up making a v2. After a few test rounds, I have noticed that if several zombies are able to reach the end of the field, they will all be trapped in the little room with the sniper/custom powerup. This can become very irritating for the sniper. I will probably expand/fix this map after I finish my current project, which is working with new map configurations and geometry.
