Have two of the same duals, not dual wielding.

While I can't find the time to do it in MM because of the constant killing, this is a cool hint/glitch kinda thing. You can only do this with dual wieldable weapons. Ok, so you need two weapons that you want to hold without dual wielding, and two other dual wieldable weapons. It doesn't matter what these two are, as long as that they both don't match the ones you want. First, pick up the weapon that you want. Then switch to your other weapon and pick up the dual that you don't want. Then dual wield the duals that you don't want. Then go to the dual that you want. Switch that with your right-hand dual. Then get rid of the left-hand dual. Now, when you switch weapons, they're the same.

There are advantages to this, especially weapons that need to reload ammo. With more guns of the same kind, you can have more ammo for them. An example is the SMG's. When the guns have full ammo, they can have 180 shots extra each. When you normally dual wield them, you can have 360 shots extra. When you have done this hint/glitch thing and dual wield another SMG, you can have 540 extra shots. So you can go longer without looking for ammo.

Another advantage is with weapons that overheat, the plasma weapons. When you overheat one of them, you can switch to the other one and fire that one. When you overheat that one, you can switch again, and the one you originally overheated has cooled. Its faster than waiting on a weapon to cool.

Sorry I had to type a freakin million paragraphs, but I thought they were necessary :squirrel_chatting:.

I love doing this. When I first showed it to my brother, he was wondering how I did it. It can really confuse some people! :squirrel_wink:

I never knew that about overheat weapons. I only knew how to do it, I never knew that switching to your other plasma weapon would still let the other one cool down while you fire.

There was a similar glitch in Halo 2. I just hope no-one tries to pull this on me ....

I think there is a video on youtube somewhere, I'll go looking for it, and I put a link when I find it.

SELF EDIT: Well, I found a video of triple wielding, and they explain how to do it better than I do, so here's the video. If you want just one weapon in your hand, just drop the other one.

And, good for me, I'm a guerrilla! AHHH! EXCESSIVE CHEST HAIR! ITS TAKING OVER ME!

    jk.

Yea, sorry I'm not good at explaining stuff, but thanks to youtube, mostly the people in the video, when I go into MM, I'll see people camping in the sword room on the pit while triple wielding maulers :squirrel_nono:
