Is there ever going to be another Assassin's Creed? I heard rumors about one and it just popped into my mind. Does anyone know?

well if you noticed the end of number one
then you have the answer to your question.
for now its unofficial but pretty darn certain.
all my lines are of similar length to each other.

I wouldn't be surprised. It was a fairly popular game. I wouldn't pick up the second one, but I know lots of people who bought it.

Honestly I didnt get the ending.
All it was was a whole bunch of blood symbols and what not on the floor and walls.

    did you notice?
    lucy has no third finger?
the map from the piece of eden showing other pieces?
therefore you have to stop them from getting the other pieces

She is an assassin, that's why.

I read somewhere that the series was gonna be a trilogy.

Me too, and I also read that it's about 2012 and the apocalypse that the Mayans predicted. Sounds interesting, and the ending to the first one was intense.

    Oh ok I see.
Yea at first I didnt know what was going on at the ending, but if you look into the computer in the other room (the one you can see into) it says that the first person they kept prisoner there had a condition that made him bleed everywhere and he wrote all that stuff on the walls and the floors with his blood. Kinda creeped me out.

I'm pretty sure there will be one, they left the story open and it was a good game that sold well I think.

This was actually an extremely confusing game, so I don't blame people for not understanding it. I've played through it two or three times, plus looked it up online.

A couple things that people didn't understand is the test subject that you play as isn't Altair, but using the animus Desmond is able to recover the memories of his relative trough his DNA. Templars need this.

The writing on the wall was all from the previous subject; he wrote it in various codes and languages. The reason you cannot see this until the end of the game is because Altair aquires much more memory of his ancestor:Altair. He's eventually able to use Eagle eye, so now he can see it all.

This is because of the bleeding effect where Test subjects literally turn into their ancestors after extensive use of the animus. The people using the animus are modern day Templars, and own the company absturgo. Lucy who works for absturgo is really an undercover assasin, helping Altair. The triangle of text means: "They drained my soul and made it theirs. I drained my body to show you where I saw it." Subject sixteen wrote this, along with all of the other messages, in his blood. The first part refers to Abstergo stealing his soul, or in reality, his memories. They watched his ancestor's life to locate an important artefact, hence 16's belief that his 'soul' was taken. The second part is more literal. 16 drained his body to show you where he saw it, meaning that he used his own blood to leave you clues as to where the artefact lies. What artefact is he talking about? There's a strong chance it could be the Holy Grail.

The Block of text means:"Artefacts sent to the skies to control all nation, to make us obey a hidden crusade. Do not help them." This message refers directly to Abstergo's plan should they (and they will) get hold of the artefact that you're being used to locate. They plan on sending this into outer space and brainwashing mankind. The third peice of Eden, which is what they have; is capable of kaking people believe annything. they say this was to blame for many biblical illusions, like the splitting of the Red Sea.

Now what are the drawings? the drawing are of the famous Nazca lines in Peru. from bove they take the shape of various animals. this could hint one of the peices of Eden could be hidden here. Yonaguni was also seen written in blood. Yonaguni is the westernmost island in Japan, and a likely setting for the next game (or at least part of it). It is widely believed that an ancient and advanced civilisation once lived on Yonaguni, and that they suffered a similar fate to Atlantis' people. Buildings found submerged around Yonaguni predate any other known buildings in the world, so expect any Japanese ancestor tales to take place before Assassin's Creed

This games really deep; and theres a lot more that could use explaining. Basically it's all about Japan so odds are that's where the next game is. Google it.

Edit- didn't mean to post two, my fault guys.

Wow this explains everything. I agree this game is really deep. When I first played I didnt even know it was going to be in present time, I thought it was like a free roam game in like Jerusalem or wherever. This game really surprised me.

I saw a video somewhere about the next Assassins Creed but it was during like a war.
I think that would be stupid because everybody has modern day guns and you have the same stuff from AC 1. I hope that vid isnt going to be the next Assassins Creed. I will try and find the video

Well...they originally planned for a sequel, but...they said after the first game was released that they wouldn't begin work on another until "demand is high enough for it"

Yes, it's official. It's been confirmed that Assassin's Creed 2 will come out. My guess would be next summer.
