^Its those three rings, however I want to be sure I have the RROD before I send it in. Basically, I have had it for like a week but up until today I could turn it off and back on (after a couple of tries) and it would work.
Maybe it's just overheated, let it rest a few days, and see if it stops. Did you search it up? Aditionally, you could use the towel technique of you don't have any garuanteement left.
Nope, I have it in a VERY open space, standing up straight and I have an intercooler, I am sure it isn't overheated, and I have been away from my house (as has everyone else) for a week, so overheating is not a possibility. I don't want to try the towel trick because that forfeits the warrenty.
Too much video game playing are we? (-3-) Yes, that is it. What you need to do is keep from playing it for awhile. If you keep playing it you will eventually have a short circuit.
Iiiiis the scart plugged in? Sometimes if some connections are rubbish/ non-existant, it'll give you some lights.
>>Red Lights On Xbox 360 You can diagnose your 3 blinking lights yourself by following the instructions below: 1. Turn on the Xbox 360, and wait a few seconds for all the lights to flash. 2. Press and hold the Sync Button on the console (the small white one), and WHILE HOLDING, press the eject button. 3. The First Code Is Displayed In The Lights, write down which one lights up (refer below). 4. Release The Eject Button and press it again. 5. The LEDs will now blink the second code. Write This down. Repeat Steps 3 and 4 till you have all 4 codes. 6. The LED’s will go back to all 3 lights flashing again. You will be able to determine the difference between the 3 flashing lights and the error code lights by judging the rate in which they flash. Here is how you can interpret the LEDs to get the code number:- * All four lights flashing = 0 * One light flashing = 1 * Two Lights flashing = 2 * Three Lights flashing = 3 Possible Faults 0001 power supply problem 0002 power supply problem 0010 over heating 0011 over heating 0012 over heating 0013 over heating 0020 (Not yet known, possibly overheating) 0022 GPU Error / GPU Overheating 0102 unknown error - littereally means the console does not know what is wrong. possibly a short or cold solder joint somewhere (2 reports of people repairing this, one was removing moisture build up inside the console, the other used a hot-air rework to reflow the BGA ram chips) 0110 (Unknown) 1022 (Unknown) THINGS TO TRY 1. Try restarting the Xbox 360 2. If restarting the console does not fix the problem, follow these steps: * Turn the console off * Unplug all the power and AV cables from the Xbox 360 * Unplug the power cord from the main power source * Firmly reconnect all the cables * Turn on the console If these steps do not resolve the behavior, turn the console off, remove the hard drive unit and then turn on the console. If the 3x Red LED error light is no longer displayed, turn the console off, re-attach the hard drive, and then turn on the console.
