So, is there a way to interlock a weapon, say, a rocket launcher, INTO a drop pod, so that when the drop pod moves, the rocket launcher would go with it?

I haven't tried it personally but I don't think it would work. I think it only works with immovable objects; walls, boxes, etc.

map out the object using weapon holders and where you want it to go.
    this allows for precision interlocking

I have a problem. I allready know how to interlock and can do it no problem, but it won't let me interlock other objects to it, because at the beggining of the round, the interlocked objects are still there, even though I have set the interlocked objects to not be there at the beggining of the round.
    >.< I'm kinda annoyed at this as I am trying to build a "platform" mini game map and I want it to be Interlocked.

Along with setting an item to [Place At Start=NO], you must set the respawn time to 180. 0 (zero) will not work.

This will give you 3 minutes in which to work on the area around the object to interlock with it.

I find Interlocking and Floating Objects the most helpful in building maps.

I really hope to see more maps implement curved and angled surfaces now that this is widespread knowledge. I can't wait to see some featured maps that follow along the lines of GRADIENT.

quick question: if i have a single box, then i have a single box a small distance away, then i place a bridge to connect them, how do i interlock the bridge so that it is flat?

    With ALOT of precision...
try maping it out in the air with floating weapon holder so you know where the object is when you place the bridge floating between them

I don't think he meant to have the object "float." I think he wants to seamlessly connect the bridge with the boxes, to make it look like the bridge is coming out of the boxes.

If I'm wrong, just ignore me (lol).

    I know,
i meant map out the object by having the weapon holders floating so he could take a shot at it being that prescise

    oic. xD

I get what you mean. I just use a slightly different method that doesn't involve weapon holders. End result is still the same though. :)

If anyone (you too frigoc1) needs a little help getting these concepts down, just send me a FR with a voice message saying you are from ForgeHub and what you need help with.

    Actually
    Here
Place two weapon holders on each box lined up with each other where you want the bridge to be(Its nendpoints, try placing the bridge normally first to see where these points are)

When you get the boxes not to spawn then where the weapon holder begins is where the box ended

Working from this assumtion if you place the bride pressing against the weapon holders in the position you want it "should" interlock perfectly into hte boxes

    lemme know if that works
