So I was on Avalanche yesterday trying to get a couple of crates to float by spawning one crate on top of another crate that I had a second controller holding. For some reason every time I placed the crate on top, the one on the bottom started to sag, despite the fact that I was still holding the bottom. Not sure what's going on. Help pl0x.
when you mean crates, do you mean those green 4 boxed crates that are movable? Because if you are, they are movable. They tend to move around.
Sorry but I don't exactly understand the problem. There are two different types of crates on Avalanche, the big boxes that are super cool and you can't move them, and the normal UNSC crates that are moveable. I don't understand the word "Sag" but I think that you were trying to spell the word lag? EDIT: Sorry we both posted at the same time. :\
I'm talking about the Traxus crates-the long ones that come in the opened or closed varieties? And yes, I did mean sag, as in it starts slowly falling to the ground and listing to one side.
Just to make sure-the Traxus crates ARE movable? Sorry, just wanted to make sure we were clear on which crates we were all talking about. =P
No. Traxus crates AREN'T movable. They are immovable objets. The regular crates(if you know) are movable. The crates that are green and square....you know.
Cool. Still, if they're immovable, I'm curious as to why the floating glitch won't work when I hold one in the air then put another one on top of it.
Beats me, but usually you have to wait 6 ,7 secondes for that method to work. That's why i don't really like that method of floating.
Well, at least it's faster than Save/Quit. So just wait 6/7 seconds after spawning an item in the air, then start stacking?
The reason I don't like it is because it's innaccurate but w/e. So you need 2 players. One is holding a box. Another player spawns a box or some immovable object on top of it. Let Go. After 6,7 secondes, delete the box on the bottom.
