Hey Guys these are the first maps I have posted on Forge Hub. Looking for some people to play them, or look at them. Also If anyone would like to help me clean them up or do some Interlocking (not very good at that.) I think I have some good Ideas but the execution is not always there when it comes to final polish. But without further ado here they are: Free your team, Just like in school dodgeball when your hit you go to jail. How do you free you team? Hit The BackBoard! (Played with School Dodgebal gametype) Bungie.net : Bungie Online : Halo 3 File Details School Dodgebal: Bungie.net : Bungie Online : Halo 3 File Details The Second One is my idea of halo if it where a platform. Kind of a SuperSmash brothers Halo type map its a territories variant with 50% grav, hammer and swords. (To be played with the Bubble Bobble gametype) Bungie.net : Bungie Online : Halo 3 File Details 1 2 Bubble Bobble: Bungie.net : Bungie Online : Halo 3 File Details The Third is One I just finished today I still have allot of plans for this one, I think it could be a great map with some more symmetry, and ascetic help. It's a King of the Hill variant with a punch out modified gametype. (To be played with Ecto Cooler gametype.) Please read this for a guide on how to post maps: http://www.forgehub.com/forum/halo-forge-maps/3000-map-posting-template.html Also, you need to change the name of the thread. You can either do up each map with a separate thread, or you can name it a map pack such as "The Nub Map Pack". Just kidding :0) PM me if you need any help.
1. I thought the pictures where a suggestion to get your map noticed better. 2. I Misunderstood the map link rule about a direct link not a file share, Still not sure how to even do that? 3. I did read the rules, thought I had followed them. Did any of you start sprinting when you took your first steps? I will try again but the some of the responses are a little harsh. Thanks Creeping Death I just might PM you I thought I did all this right I took over 20 mins. to post it by checking the rules. Apparently I still missed some stuff.
You are fine everywhere except with with the pics and the thread title. And there was nothing harsh about what people posted, they were just trying to help. Jeesh! Sensitive! Edit: And try not to double post, it's against forum rules :0)
thats whatI did do I just need to change the names? Maybe Harsh was not the right word, But I hit refresh and there was 3-4 post all saying WRONG! Felt a little harsh, Not Sensitive But it was pretty clear I was trying to do the right thing. Not Like i came on and did the: "WTFBBQLOLMFWAREZ NOOBDS CHECK OUT MY SWEET NEW MAPS THE BEST EVER!"
True, sometimes a few people see that you need help and in the course of a few minutes all have posted with tips and such in hopes of helping. No worries and good luck with your editing. P.S. And I mean edit!! Some people repost the thread and that is the wrong way to go about it. Simply go to edit and then "Go Advanced" and you can edit every detail including the thread title :0)
Hey, I just wanted to say that this is something that happens a LOT with new members. Don't get discouraged by it, just ask around and you can get help from (almost) anyone here on Forge Hub. Like i've said before, I have come to think of this ritual of first map posts as FH's very own form of hazing

Yes i did start sprinting with my frist steps.... I posted my map correct pictures and link to the map and gametype... but regardless Please post pics....

This is a pretty cool idea I especialy like the Ecto cooler because that is a good name Work on making it more aestheticly pleasing 3.5/5
Don't worry dude everyone is like this on your first map post always telling you that its not up to standtards. Make a v2 but ill also help alright and ill teach you some techinqes
Welcome to Forgehub! Well, true it does need interlocking. I can help you with that. I'm pretty good at forging. I think your first map is very promising. With more forging techniques, it could turn out to be a really good map. My GT is Drkkaiden0805 if you want some help. I'm usually on during weekends. If you want any help, just ask.
These comments are not as "harsh" as my first post. I was being called a racist and that my map sucked and that because it didn't have interlocking people rated it a 1/5... They also said that it had too little cover and not good gameplay. I can't say your maps are the best, but I won't make you sad or angry with this comment. Good luck on your second post, and Hopefully it won't be called "*Newbie* Forge Member Mappack 2".
