7CR Pit-fall This is my first map 7CR PitFall, it is a symetrical map and can be used for Multi-Flag, Team Slayer, One-Flag and Odball. It is symetrical, partly molded/merged map with two bases, a central mauler spawn, lower tower which splits the map in half, two sniper towers, a walkway / outer rim to walk around, and a central walkway which runs through the Mauler spawn. This is one of the two bases at either end of the map which can be acessed by either the base platforms (See below for picture) or the outer track. This is the Mauler spawn in the center of the map, it can be reached from both sides. There doesn't seem to be much in this map. Just two bases and a long bridge in the middle where a mauler spawns. It doesn't seem like you put a lot of thought into making this map. More aesthetics would make this map look a lot nicer and a lot more stuff added would change the gameplay a little bit. It just seems too bare. ps: Your signature is too big. Just a thought. EDIT: Now your signature is tiny lol. Did you use photobucket or imageshack? If you didn't you should.
There doesnt seem that there is much of this map to use to the player's advatage. I would suggest making a v2 adding more, perhaps more structures. For now I will give it a 3.8/5
You must have a description of your map before you post. Please add a description. Anyway the aesthetics dont look great, and the gamplay looks pretty bad. Just fix that up and make a v2.
No offence, but this map looks kinda open... and well bland? I havn't DL'd it so I can't really tell you much about gameplay but so far it really doesn't impress me. Maybe I'll DL and get back to you on how it really plays, but I'm betting it wont be to awsome. Good try and keep it up! Atleast you used interlocking and things like that! Pixel Seraph
I agree with everyone else, in a map like this, I would imagine that the spawns are terrible because there simply is no cover for them, and I am guessing that it is easy to spawn camp. Also, it seems like whoever can control the top will absolutely destroy the other team, because of the very few ways to get to the top. It also looks like you interlocked in some parts, and didn't interlock in others. This could lead to one side being bumpy, but the other smooth, and that is a very bad thing is a symmetrical map
Let me say one thing, this is definitely better than my first map. Anyway, your map doesn't look too alluring nor exotic. I suggest redoing the wall and adding a few more unique techniques/effects. For now I must give your map a 2/5.
doesnt seem that bad. its WAYYY too open! just add stuff in the sides and i think itsll be great. nice interlocking btw.
