hello, it is set up for most gametypes however it is best for 1 v 1. unfortunately the gameplay doesnt match the aesthetics, like most of my maps tbh. i just love building beautiful maps.
The map looks awesome. Its very unique. Try to make a v2 and make it unescapable because I saw in 1 pic that you can grenade jump and go off the map. Anyways, I'll download it looks very fun. Good job and keep up the good work!
hi, thanks for the good comments man. just so you know the map is completely unescapable. i have put a roof over the whole thing. in that picture the roof has been taken off so the viewer can see whats inside. thanks
It does looks like you have outdone yourself Paranoia! The reminds me alot of maps Gradient, Fractured, Kashmir Highlands, and Empire. But, you might want to consider taking out some of the shield doors as they are a magnet for camping, then again, all shield doors are, *minor complaint*. Originality: 9.5/10, although the map might be 'perfectly interlocked' it isn't the first time someone has made a map like this with smooth depth. Playability: 10/10, this map looks amazing for 2v2's I would really like to try this 16 players eventhough it could be very hectic Weapon Placement: 9/10, this is a common problem with small maps in which most of the power wepaons can be obtained in seconds which will lead to frustration for both teams i.e. 'All you were using the entire game was *insert power weapon here*' or plain and simply 'You are such a *insert power here* *****!'. Overall: 8.75/10 = Success! but with minor problems
hi, according to other members is not revolutionary, seems its been done before but ive never seen it. basically it involves interlocking a mancannon into an object. you cannot see any part of the mancannon but if u stand near it you get surrounded in a blue glow.
I did notice the glow in a run through but I didn't mention it in the review because newer and newer techniques will be created almost daily so I thought that by probably some time someone will find out how to do it and put in there map and then so on and so on. Just because I didn't mention it doesn't mean it is automatically considered irrelivant, keep that in mind when replying back to a review, to answer your question JASONYO, yes, I did play this map
looks good, although these revolutionary things you talk about discovering i've done both before. I can assure you you've done nothing groundbreaking, and you come off a little arrogant in the post. I havent bothered to impliment either in my released maps yet and i probably wont ever use the lighting other than how ive done it in Excoriate. the map itself is built magnificiently. I couldnt have thought it up or built it better myself. It feels a little small, but it has a real organic feel to it. The weapons arent placed bad at all, and you've selected them nicely. my favorite part is the gentle slope down and around to the lower lever. Great job on the map. I hope in the future you produce something a little larger. Cheers.
I just played 1v1, and I have to say it was excellent! Superb! Bravo! It had good weapon placement, good spawning, aesthetics, and overall good playability! I loved the man cannon lighting, and it's my favorite kind of map: small, enclosed 1v1 or 2v2! You should make more of these!
Wow! Beautiful aesthetics. I love the shield walls, they are very creative. The new lighting effect sounds very intresting. This looks like a great map. Dl'ed
I'm not so sure if you were the first to figure out the man cannon effect but I believe you found it by yourself. Any, this map looks really cool, and I like the circles in the wall. I will download this and play it, and probably tell you how I think of it.
Very, very impressive. The carefully constructed "mayhem" of the architecture in this level is just gorgeous. Flawless interlocking, brilliant design, clever ideas (blue-lit partial gates, etc.)...I could go on for a while. I will. The overall feel of this level is chaotically wonderfull. The way the haphazard walls reflect grenades in strange directions adds an element of surprise that is truly wonderful. I also love how you worked in multiple floors in a twisting, maddening fashion. This looks to be a LAN favorite for me. Really well done, awesome job!
I played this today and it was pretty sweet. A little claustrophobic regardless of how many people are playing on it, though. My main complaint is that there is too much going on. There are too many "shield walls", OS's, Camo's and window panels that serve no purposeful other than to disoriente and annoy me. Other than that, wonderful map. The ditches especially pwn.
This was a great map for 1v1. I can't really comment on the weapons though because most of the time, I have been playing it with random weapons. Your interlocking is great, and what makes the map awesome is the symmetry. Aside from the different colour power ups this is what I like to call perfect symmetry. Great job. Definitely 5/5.
So I played 1v1 snipers two times today on this map, and the aesthetics were amazing first of all. I like How you stuck objects in between the circles created by the tele-nodes. And I like the shield doors inside the fences. Now, the spawns, obviously, were pretty predictable, but there was never a spawn kill, because you had places to run to. People could easily camp in the open double boxes with the shield door, and it was pretty bad. But it probably wouldn't be that bad if it wasn't a snipers game. Overall, it was a simple figure-8 layout with great aesthetics and gameplay was pretty decent. 4/5.
Team snipers must have been chaos! sounds funny though. There are alot of shield doors but to be honest they dont really cause the gameplay to suffer. The map is very small, without the shield doors and boxes you could quite literally shoot each other from across the map. It would end up as a plain old standoff. the shield doors force the player to come looking for the kill. They actually have the opposite effect of what it would seem.
