    Map Name: ALTA
    Number of Players: 2-6
    Suggested Game Variants: FFA, Oddball

    Description:
Alta, formerly known as Elevation, is a completely symmetrical arena that forces both horizontal and vertical battle strategies. Several different levels and multiple angles make this warzone complete chaos from “Slayer” to “Game Over.” All 3 powerups are present (although the Active Camo won’t spawn until 2 minutes into the match) and are placed in strategic locations. It’s the various angles and shooting lanes that really make this map stand out.

    Weapons placed:
    AR: 4
    BR: 4
    Carbine: 2
    Brute Shot: 3
Sniper Rifle: 1 (0 extra clips 90s respawn)
    Shotgun: 2 (0 extra clips, 60s respawn)
    Mauler: 2 (0 extra clips, 45s respawn)
    Magnum: 2
    Plasma Pistol: 2
    Plasma Rifle: 2
    Needler: 2
Rocket Launcher: 1 (1 extra clip, 90s respawn)
    Spiker: 2
    SMG: 2
    Hammer: 1 (90s respawn)
**unless noted, all weapons have 30s respawn

    Equipment:
    Power Drain: 1
    Grav Lift: 2
    Bubble Shield: 2
Active Camo: 1 (does not spawn at start, 120s respawn)
    Overshield: 1 (120s respawn)
Custom Powerup (Speed): 1 (120s respawn)
    Frag: 8
    Plasma: 10
    Spike Grenade: 6
    Fire Bomb: 2 (20s respawn)
**unless noted, grenades have 10s respawns and equipment have 60s respawns

The screenshots honestly don't do her justice at all. The map has a unique layout and flows well. Take a forge-run around it first, then take a run-through. Pretty sure this is the first map I actually built in Foundry, way back in December just days after the Heroic Map Pack released. I’ve had it on and off the Fileshare, but just cleaned it up a bit more today, interlocked a few items and walls to look and function better, and added respawn areas. I hope you all enjoy it!! Its one of my babies, and I love her very much. I would love to hear what you all think and any constructive criticism is greatly appreciated.

looks pretty good but it seems as though it would take about 47 years to get to know the place well

it will seriously only be confusing if you dont do a fly-through in monitor mode first. its pretty straightforward once you can actually see it. let me know what you think

thanks homie i appreciate that! yeh i know what you mean theres a corner or 2 thats not 100% clean...but it doesnt affect the flow of the map so i didnt really feel compelled to fix it. plus my budget has run dry (this was built pre-FMGC era) Im glad you liked it. Told ya it wasnt all that confusing. Ive played on it with some friends before and its been a hit as an FFA map. Havent tried it as Oddball but most FFA maps double as Odball maps fairly easily so im sure it works just fine.

EDIT: Alright now that a whopping 2 people have downloaded so far (sigh), im anxious to get more feedback from the rest of the community!

wow what page did you dig this out from haha?

NOTE: this map was made before i knew how to interlock...long ago. since then however, i have gone back and interlocked a couple small parts. It was also built within the normal forge budget.

i do currently have an aztec themed map in the works...could be a while before its done tho because i just started it today. should be good tho... theres a list of links under my sig with my other maps on here also!
