In multiplayer it'll be the exact same, but I wouldn't be too surprised if it was somehow altered in campaign, but I think it would be smarter for Bungie to keep everything the same. Why change something that's not broken?

    That isnt accurate.

The new maps will be on the new disc to install, much like the Halo 2 Map disc. Multiplayer will still be exactly the same... and you'll need the Halo 3 disc to play it, as you are doing right now. The only reason you'll need the Recon disc is to play the Campaign.

Melee is so annoying. Most noobs just go around with a rocket and a shotgun and end up getting tons of kills and when you challenge them to a 1 on 1 BR match they get literally RAPED.

to be honest i have no clue how it will work. but in my opinion i would make it with health packs and give them a knife to make it more realistic since an ODST is just a marine with black armor and a cool helmet. but knowing bungie they will jusk keep it the same but just lower the damage on a melee

Guys its a HALO 3 extention! It will play like H3. You can't tell after Just 1 video what the game is going to play like.

Wait a month or 2 before you draw conclusions.

ODST still kicks ass. You see ODST armor in multiplayer don't you? They do some crazy ass **** still even if they're not a spartan.
