this map is a good idea. Only the fusion coils will get annoying and the helicopter... You could've made it look like a helicopter.
yeah if you wouldn't have said that was a helicopter I would never have guessed. but the map looks ok, besides the serious lack of interlocking... keep up the good work...
It's well done. Keep in mind that I don't head over here to often. I like this map a lot. The 'helicopter' seems too much towards the left base.
well i know the helicopter doesnt look impressive because im trying to make sure that the guy that gets up there still can get killed because if i do add stuff up there to make it look more like an actual helicopter the guy would have cover and would be harder to down. The airstrikes can be annoying and used to your advantage as well or just that OMG i just blown to bits! its also the same reason for the shield doors to protect from the explosions and as well to keep from getting sniped by the opposite team. but even if you were a sniper you only have 4 bullets so camping isnt really possible. I know this isnt the best of maps but im trying to make some maps with the same kind of aspects from Call of Duty 4 so that way my friends would come back to playing Halo again. and one of the biggest issues i have when making maps is what weapons to place and where as well as the respawns. i appreciate the comments and if you guys have any suggestions lemme know because ill read back often javascript:void(0); squirrel_chatting:squirrel_chatting:
crackhead, the concept sounds good, I personally havnt seen it yet but heres a few suggestions- power weapons (most of them) outside, so its v decision, "I want a good weapon but I may die in whilst getting it" As for the comments about interlocking objects with map geometry its simple to get your head around and u wont need to destroy your map doing it in v process (u may find u might want to because of the usefulness) As for the helicopter, its same with interlocking - just make sure u hav enough pieces. If your worried about campers make some part of the helicopter fensed so u can shoot through and place a few fusion coils to pick off inside or possibly a one way teleporter to get in. Respawns have to be inside or out of range of fusion coil blasts (no one likes to die immediatly u respawn) - hope it goes well
I agree with HP, the helicopter needs work, maybe one way tele, and power weapons in a bombing area, so you must make a descicion, to get weps and maybe die trying, or stay cozy in your house, with only ar's and br's
