PROFLIGATE Conditions are terrible, you were searching out in the Black Forests on the 3rd Ring of Halo, when your group accidently fell into this small abandond base. The First creators of this experimental base were not discovered. There are UNSC weapons scattered about which leads us to think that this small facility was not being discovered for the first time. There were bodies of earier Spartan's and Elites found throughout the area. These soldiers must have had to of worked together to overcome an even greater threat, because these bodies weren't from natural causes. Something had attacked them. A Force with superier strength, speed, and intelligience. The newly deserted crew had built structures for safety, incase something had decided to go bump in the night. It wasn't before long, where something did... Not even these recruits could stop the forces of these creatures, because they were also UNSC members. Infected by a virus. Now all they want is to kill and destroy everything in their path. The former survivors of the attack became one of them. Now there are even more of these, things out there. Your job is to enter into that small facility, barricade yourselves into the structure that remains, suit up, and blow these things straight to hell! You recruits are all that we have access to, due to the recent Covenant attacks in Africa, we need to stop the Covenant from gaining control over Earth. However, these creatures need to be stopped. They are far more intelligent than most of our elite squads. They have a ship, so you have to kill them all off, before they can manage to get to earth. Even if we destroy the Covenant, we will be too weak to take on these things, and eventually Earth will fall. Cut them off from multiplying, blow up there resources, and save mankind. There will be a transport once we have word on your mission status. We have been able to obtain these satelight images of the area... These pictures show how dark the area can get at night... I expect you to bring a flashlight, Now, these images show off the surrounding area. Most of the pictures were taken at Dawn... This is one of the structures they had made to keep out predators. This one shows another hideout area for safety... This is were the exit is, but thankfully it is blocked off, so these things aren't goin anywhere, but neither are you... Careful, some of the tunnels and exits are blocked off... This is where you'll be getting dropped off, inside this small building... This is inside the first base you saw, it's equipped with a turret and water supplies... This is the main area that these things, like to stay in, This door will transport you into a small barricaded room, use the sides, Some areas like this prove effective when it comes to spotting out the beastly creatures, so stay on guard... *Reserved* Looks great so far, will post after gameplay. EDIT: First of all the FX pretty much improve the game by 60%, the map itself doesn't have too mcu forging but I don't blame you since it is ghost town. Having the humans red was a good idea because otherwise it's way too hard for the zombies to see them. One thing that bothered me though was that almost every time people would go to the teleporter room. Now it wasn't very hard for the zombies to kill the humnas while they were in there but it still got a little boring. Alot of times I'd be in a base and then I hear a hammer and then I'm dead. I love the realisticness of the map. The night makes it harder for both sides. 4.5/5 and a stamp of approval/ smiley face.

wow this map looks really good. we dont see too many maps being made on ghost town and the interlocking looks good and im not sure but do i see geomerging?!? so yeah im dl this map. and did you notice this but your map name has ROFL in it
Haha nice, and thanks, 1st map post! :] Ya, it seemed hard to fill in some areas, because of you dont want it to look the same everywhere sweet oh yea, theres flares at about everybase, well where the shotty is, tree forts, and one at the top of the brick building

Yeah, that was my point, oh also the ROFL thing... how'd u notice that?! lol I designed this map because there were so many foundry infct, maps, and they aren't showing the true meaning of infection! to scare! surprise! be fun for zombies and human! so please download, and remember the little hint at the bottom of post ;]
Wow, nice is a....fairly interesting map. Amazing interlocking, you hardly see things like this in Ghost Town...especially the geomerging (9th picture from the top) And I LOVE maps with stories to them.....so far, 4.5/5 minus gameplay review....I'll be back with reviews later (If I remember, that is).
Why thank you, yea it was hard to forge a hole lot since you know its GT but it still turned out pretty well Encourage as many people as you can to play outside the foundry... and DL this map! hah :]

I will check your map out for sure, but you know how you talked about my map being bad. As an honest remark your map is just too open, their is not enough structures. Also this is a direct quote from your remark to my map "also the turrets thing, kinda gets boring and leads us back into the foundry styled fat kid maps". Your whole map is filled with turrets, I can't even believe you would say that. Also sorry I did give you negative rep, and im sorry it just disappointed me to see someone actually showoff their map. I'll give you back that rep if you really care, but I will try out the map and see if it's any good.
This looks really fun...i like how you've encorporated you're own bases in to the map, it should make for some interesting gameplay. The lighting technique is really good too, this map looks like it really is much better because of it. good going! Ill edit this once i dl
ok, I want to clear this up, I wasn't really calling your map bad, i was trying to say, "haven't you play a fat kid map on foundry? theres usually a tunnel/hallway that has at leased 1 or two turrets, and its almost imposible to get past, thats what i was trying to say... also i didn't want to come off hipocriticaly, since mine does have turrets, but the thing on mine, is that the area the turret shoots is very very narrow, and hard to get more than 1 kill with unless you break it off. theres at leased 1 weak spot per turret on my level... If I had tried to block off [my] map, it wouldn't have turned out well... as for the showing off map part, thts totally true, im kinda disapointed in myself accually. It's just my first map post, and wanted it to gain some popularity before it sank to the depths of the forums so do to my rep what you will...

The map looks solid so far. Haven't had a chance to download, but from the pictures it looks great. I'll be more in depth later, after download, sorry its taking me a while, I'm just a bit bogged down with school work right now. My bad. =P
Im going to give my full blown opinion on this map. First of all I cant really see the pictures because of the filters. Secondly the map itself doesnt really have too much interesting stuff on it to make it appealing to ME. (Remember my opinion.) And lastly The filters are a bit old unless you dont make it to the point where you cant see. Its just too unoriginal. im going to give it a 2.5/5 because I dont know if gameplay is fun on it and will make me want to play for hours on end. But the aesthetics appeal on it doesnt really make me want to click the link to download the map.
