If this would allow someone to get inside and use the turret of a sunken warthog then could we possibly see a gauss turret in upcoming maps?

First off, if you merge a door or window panel with a hog it will fall down into the level and keep doing that all game.
Second, weapon holders don't merge either and if you place them on top of a movable object that is merged, it will freak out

Hmm, I know this is may be a bit more difficult, but is it possible with other vehicles? (I'm at not at access to my 360 right now, so I can't try it myself). A 'big blue asplotion ball' turret (Wraith) would defiantly be interesting :squirrel_wtf:.

This new technique could lead to some pretty awesome maps.

I merged a Wraith with map geometry on Sandtrap back when I applied for guilder. So, it should be possible. In my example it was only sunk in a little way though - it wouldn't move an inch if you boosted or fired, but after a specific number of shots (around 50 I think) it would shift backwards. I secured it with teleporters and it fixed the problem.
