Hey everyone. I realize this question is probably dead-obvious (especially since every on ForgeHub is a forger), but as I'm very interested in making maps I would certainly like to know the proper answer. When you post/publish your map, video, etc. to the Bungie.net Halo 3 File Forum, does that 'publish' it there, or must you keep it in your fileshare? If you remove it from your fileshare does it delete the topic, or what? I tried asking on the Bungie forums, but...need I say more? :p Anyways, that kind of stinks if you have to keep it, as I want to create a variety of maps but I don't really want to invest $10 in Bungie Pro. Thanks so much for the help in advance!

Unfortunatly yes you must keep it on your file share. It won't delete the topic but it will show up as not having a download option. I'll try to go get an example.

No no, that's quite alright. So is that what the guilders have? (Bungie Pro?)

keep in mind its like a monthly(or yearly i cant remember) charge and yeah it sucks but otherwise people could spam the bungie forums with utter crap.
also i'd be damn chuffed if i managed to make 6 maps worht keeping up there.
heres another Q do you have to have a gold account to publish maps/gametypes?
that way you could have an alt account to publish the gametypes while doing all the actual forging on your main with your mates

    You misunderstood him :)

You can upload files to your Xbox, but not have a file share. People do this to save space on their 100 Item limit. No one would buy bungie pro then...
