I know how to merge immovable objects with map geometry, but I can't merge them at an angle... like having a double box sticking out of the ground at a 45 degree angle or something... I've tried spawning the box above the ground (the oushing box) at the angle I want, but when I set the run time min to da max, the box I'm holding just shoots away. I saw someone who did this with their map THE PARK, but they used an open double box, and I don't know if that makes a difference...
If you have any suggestions/tips, I could use all the help I can get. KTHXBAI!¡

This is the exact type of post that annoys me. Do not type two words!!!! Please explain to him how to use doors.

Pinecone, surround whatever object you want slanted with double boxes. Then make room to place one double boc on top of your object at the slant you want it. Now set all the objects not to place at start and 20 seconds. Set your object to 10 sec and not place at start. When your object spawns, grab it but make sure it does not move. Hole it there until all the other double boxes spawn then save changes and end the game and come back. delete all the boxes and there you have it. A merged slanted object.

Or if you don't particularly care about the angle and just want it to be randomly crooked, as I did in my Aftershock map, do this:

    1. spawn a box (single boxes work really well...haven't tried it with double)
    2. spawn a door
    3. place the door upside-down on top of the box so that the door sinks into the box. Sink it as far as it will go and if it starts rocking back and forth, wait for it to stop, or reposition it. do not place the door in the middle of the box if you want the box to be crooked. place it slightly to one side.
    4. place walls or boxes on each side of the box you're trying to sink so that it doesn't go flying across the map.
    5. grab the box and then let it go immediately. watch it sink. once it stops moving, delete the door. voila!

thanks for the help, but do any of these methods yield a double box that would stick out of the ground so that a player could smoothly walk onto it with no bumping or jumping? I origionally posted this question because I diddn't want to give up on my idea for a CTF level designed on Foundry that used this technique to build craters that would act as both competitive and asthetical map geometry. I'd call it something like moonscape, and turn the gravity down...
but back to the point... I had tried enclosing the box in a square of other boxes with a slanted (late-spawning) box, and the box that I wanted to fuse with the floor ended up dropping through the floor, even when I was holding onto it. However; I didn't try making the enclosing boxes spawn late. What does that do?
    -thnx again for teh helpz!
