I'm pretty sure the reason that the setlists are leaning towards more modern stuff is that they've simply run out of the older songs. Seeing as the original guitar hero was meant to be the "best of rock", as time progresses each sequel is just picking up scraps of songs and bands missed by their prequels, or in the rare occasion newly liscensed songs. In return the rest of the playlist needed to be plugged full of modern songs and the odd gimmick of rock legends like Slash and Zakk Wylde. Also Apparently the bonus setlist is going to be a few songs made in the music creator by activision staff. hooray...
The guy who charted this will be getting GH:WT. I fear his customs Also, Schism alone trumps all the non-Tool songs. Combined.
Awsome, I love most of these songs. Now I think I will get this game. Well, maybee after I see my friend play it...Thanks for Dis, I guess.
Why bother activision, why bother. Rockband has overtaken guitar hero in awesomeness, difficulty and just plain well, everything. Half the songs are the same between the two games. How can they expect anyone to buy both when your gettin like 40 duplicate songs. I may hate EA and their attempted monopoly on video games, but man Harmonexus just developes beter music games. Sorry Neversoft, stick to Tony Hawk. Edit: Lol what guy above me, have you even played RB2? That had an amazing setlist, not to mention half of GHWT songs in their copy-game are exactly the same.
