Not your usual Foundry map. Battle your way up the winding slopes of Serenity Valley in a fast paced and action packed slayer or CTF game. I have made this map with the idea of having a base at the top of a large winding hill which you have to defend against the attackers. there is also a smaller base at the bottom which opens the map up for some multi flag or neutral bomb games. practically every object is interlocked with its neighbour to create a much more user friendly environment. over 20hrs work. Pics - This map is quite small due to the amount of objects and scenery required to make it all. weapon details are as follows:- BR - 8 Sniper Rifle - 2 Needler - 2 Rocket Launcher - 1 Spikers - 2 Shotgun - 1 Maulers - 2 Energy Sword - 1 SMG - 2 Machine Gun Turret - 2 Plasma Grenades - 6 Spike Grenades - 4 Bubble Shield - 2 Regenerator - 2 Deployable Cover - 1 Power Drain - 1 Overshields - 1 Active Camo - 1 to download map click here - Bungie.net : Bungie Online : Halo 3 File Details
From what i can see looks good but you definetly need more pictures i cant really see the map i am liking these maps from you first proximity now this nice job but get more pics
Serenity Valley, How can this be a "Valley" when it's one of he smallest maps i've ever seen.. Aren't valleys suppoused to be large, wide open, rolling hills and a little less..Grey.. Maybe more Green?
http://www.forgehub.com/forum/competitive-maps/20226-serenity-valley.html kthnxbai leave and gtfo we dont like map re-posters here.....go away *spits behind himself, and leaves*
Small Valley, I have seen this map somewhere too. 4.5 and I really don't like it that much, It's okay though.
now your just flaming borat. it is named after a place in a film i like. A name doesnt have to make perfect sense. Are their ghosts in ghost town? please think before you post in my threads.
Mabye show more pics? or does the hill only go down there? mabey not so much a turret covering the only entrance? and mabey not os right there next tot the turret nice interlocking tho
interlocking is good but i think that you need to get rid of the turrets and you can make it bigger if you just dident interlock ther boxes halfway through each other and maybe get rid of the barrels they tend to fly everywhere and be very annoying and to make it bigger just use ooen boxes and single boxes and it should getr roomy realy quick and make some bigger elivation differences because right now it's just two slants
Wow ive seen this map a while back it wasnt that good and your not suposed to double post read the rules
Ya man you REALLY need more pictures, from what I can see it looks... okay. I mean the interlocking is pretty good but I'm not so sure my first choice for floors would have been Walls :S Also you put like three or four battle rifles like RIGHT NEXT to each other... I'll give you a 3/5. Come back with a version two, have more pics, and maybe fix of few of the things I mentioned. Decent first version.
This looks good but you said in your description that there was a smaller base at the bottom... where i it? More pictures would be very nice and would mean my download. Also it looks clean. I personally think shield doors make any map just weird.. so that. Also what if someone just ripped off the turett went down the hill and just annoyed the hell out of the attackers= not fun gameplay. Try and think about these things in a v2 or a next map. -Irish
Reminds me of Omaha beach XD Is that all the map though? Because those turrets could be a problem on such a small map though... But your interlox is great! 3/5, great interlocking but.... yeah those turrets.
Yeah, you have, he posted this on 7/13/08 (see sdrakulich's post) he reposted a few of his maps. Naughty, naughty Paranoia_uk....
Actually its named ghost town because it is desolate and abandoned, remember the old west movies, all the towns were "ghost towns" because they were abandoned, well thats were the map gets the name. Also, because it is dilapidated.
Eh... Yeah this map (from the pics) just doesn't look neat. The gameplay might be good, but the idea has been done many times before. I give it a C.
