Hello everybody at forgehub! Sorry I haven't been posting in quite a while, I've had high school to deal with. Anyway, I give you the latest of M&J productions, Containment! M&J productions consists of me and my brother Jeff, who helps me with forging the map. Layouts are done by me, he helps me with the production. Containment is an Asymmetric map created for FFA, but playtesting will determine what is best. It is set indoors as a forerunner flood containment facility, hence its name. It was imagined by me as something like Cold Storage, and came out beautifully. It includes some surprises and tricks involving gameplay elements that are sure to vary gameplay in a special way. Here's a crude paint overview with weapons only. No grenades, no equipment. The wepons on the map: 6 x frag 4 x plasma 2 x BR 1 x Carbine 1 x AR 1 x Plasma Rifle 1 x Plasma Pistol 1 x Brute Shot 1 x Sniper 1 x Shotgun 2 x SMG 2 x Spiker 2 x Magnum 1 x Active camo 1 x Regenerator 1 x Bubble Shield 1 x Power Drain Now for some pics! Pics without the roof on My favourite part of the map, I call it Combat Hall The pillars leading to Combat Hall, they are fully destructible, adding a new gameplay element The shotty room, taking some inspiration from the first room of The Oracle from Halo 2. We worked really hard on this map all this thanksgiving weekend, we really hope you enjoy it! Now for action pics! Despite poor ascetic ratings, the map played FFA exactly the way I wanted it to, it was really fun. It was me, Jeff, and my cousin playing 3 player FFA. We played Slayer, Oddball, and KOTH. Jeff says: Drop and give me 20! Sometimes, when drastic measures must be taken, Noob combo beats shotgun. Jeff demonstrates how the destructible pillars came into play. Jeff power drains himself, and pays the price. After all was said and done, we found that Crazy King played the best. Oddball saw a lot of camping, and I couldn't get a kill in Slayer. i'm sorry but maybe next time this is just a realy realy overly simple map thats boxed in, all i see is camo two collumms and some badly placed stairs
Very interesting map i like the conceals areas and the open ended areas inthe same map, it adds alot of different feelings to the map. the asthetics are a little sloppy but still the map still looks playable and balanced. nice post 3.5/5. P.S ^ that post got -Rep and a report from me and Uncle borat, Just to clear it up i mean Pepperpimp.

this does look quite interesting, though you could probably flip the boxes you're using as walls to their side to give a less 'TRAUXUS' look, smooth it over if you decide to do a v2. As for the rest it seem like a different concept, somewhat appealing thought I must ask; can you get in those fence boxs with the camo? they look a tad pointless. i'd also like to add, mabie add a bit more structure and cover to your next version as it is a bit dull, other than that it looks pretty good. ^_^
Thanks for the tips! The camo boxes are just for appearance and they're mainly to point out which base it is. If you look at the defender's base, there's an overshield fused in the stair triangle.
looks sort of simple, but yet... something cool about it... i dont know what exactly. it looks neat and well made, so high marks for execution. great interlocking. i cant tell if u used geo merging or not, so if u did, nice job. 4/5. keep it up! and pepperpimp, stop spaming. thnx
in my Advise i would make a little bit more out of the map i mean it is horably small not to be that rude but i dont really even see a point of downloading i rate this 2\5
Pretty nice map. I would download but isnt it escapable? No one likes escapable maps. The gameplay looks very fun so make a v2 with maybe even more ideas and make it inescapable. Good luck.
blakou7 those were pic without a roof,meaning he took the roof out for better pictures if you read the post you would know that..... all and all nice map....can't really think of a way to better it without starting all over....you are going to HAVE to work on appearance.....sorry nothing really positive to say about this map.
the mapis nice it works in the sense that you kept it simple and it can be lots of fun i assume in the combat hall with either large teams or small ones however the lack of cover can leave the sniper dominating or simply holing up for defense as a team still good though 3/5
This map is ok, it's a bit too open and really boxy... I do like the pillars a lot, but the rest of the map I am not very impressed by. I will download and check this out, looks like a decent map.
Thanks for the help, guys. I tried to keep it simple because I have been in Forger's block for a month now and this was my first real breakthrough. I'll make it neater if I have time to make a V2
