Compatible Gametypes:All gametypes (except Infection) # of Players:8-16 Players Description: Hey ForgeHubbers. What's going on? How have you been? This is the 4th map that I have posted here. It is an urban SWAT tactical map that features two opposing militant bases and a wartorn battleground. I have spent a huge amount of time on this map, and over time, it became the most frustrating map to build because of a number of reasons. Firstly, there are about 55 geomerged objects. That alone, along with the fact that this was my first map to use geomerging, made it especially difficult. Secondly, there were many things I had to redo, because even though I used a budget-glitched canvas, I actually hit an item limit. Apparently, after 200 or so placed objects, you have delete an object for every new object you want to put down. Nonetheless, Vantage Point is finally done. Technically, the map is an asymmetrical map, but plays well with a variety of different gametypes. The defender's base stretches across Foundry's entire width, and spawns for this base are both default Foundry spawns (in the corners of the map). This base, because of its role in asymmetrical games, has a ton of bunkers and secret hiding spots. It's main feature is the giant tunnel / walkway in its center. One of my friends coined it the term "Armadillo", so that is what I'm going to refer to it as. The attacker's base is a lot more open, but also stretches across Foundry's width as well. Because of how open it is, I put a lot of the battleground items favoring the attackers in tight situations, making it much more balanced in both types of games. The main feature of the attacker's base is a gate that opens by shooting one of the two fusion coil "buttons". You could compare this to the gate in High Ground because it is a gate that once opened cannot be shut. It plays a big role in objective games, especially two-sided assault and CTF, yet is also helpful in situations where the attackers need immediate access to the battleground. As already said, the battleground somewhat favors the attackers, but is technically neutral. Gameplay: This section is very important to understand. Something odd, yet unique that you may find about Vantage Point is that I made for very specified gametypes that aren't typically played. The map itself is designed around Team SWAT gametypes, but also plays amazingly well with Shotty Snipers games and Fiesta games (even objective ones with these settings). At the bottom of the page, I have links to my personal favorite gametypes played with the map, which will link you to my file share for download. Now, any weapon can be used efficiently at close-to-medium range (that isn't a BR), and the BR still holds the best at longe range combat.

I love the map it isn't too open that you can't run through the middle. More than 1 level i the back area 2 sides to battle from . I give it 5/5
holy cow! this looks great! I love the geomerging and interlocking. Every time I geomerge it takes forever for it to get right. I can tell that you put a ton of effort in on this map. Or you are just a really really good forger. In my opinon, this should be featured! great job. 5/5
Dude that quarter circle is just so awesome. And the whole map is great. You really use Foundry to its fullest. Rarely do I see maps that make bases on those sides.
This is a very unique map with a semi unique layout. I like the layout a lot though because it has parts that are crowded and parts that are not. Also the aesthetics going on are very nice as well, they help the map stand out. Good JOb

maybe not exactly featured, but this is truly an amazing map you've got here. definantly better than some of my maps and other maps that I've seen. 5/5 and great job once again.

This is the Sweetest ****ing slayer map EVA, The aesthetics will blow your mind to shreds. This is a feature worthy map, if you don't believe me try it yourself. Awesome work jslayer! The INTERLOX IS PERFECTIONZZ.
Yeah. Play objective games WITH the SWAT settings. SWAT isn't limited to just Team SWAT. You can either download one of my recommended gametypes (provided at the bottom of my first post), or use the settings I suggest in my first post for SWAT games.
hey great map i was just playing on it with JSlayer (the creator) and i loved the idea, and the feel of the map. I dont suggest really a V2 cause everything is just so well made. 5/5 I am going to get a big crew tomorrow to play some CTF and Bomb on this so if you like to join in send me an invite
I remember testing this map playing SWAT, I had a great time even though I was getting owned. The map itself is astounding. If you have ever played Call of duty 4 this map reminds me of crossfire. It had buildings on either side and truck/tanks in the middle. You really got the urban feel down!! 5/5
This map is amazing. Honestly. I was bewildered by how many little slots I could poke my br through in a variety of places. Perfect amount of cover and great aesthetics. Had a great game of 4v4 swat.
Sweet!!!! This map looks so cool especially the bases which are epic. This is your best map so far and I hope you beat it in you other maps to come. This looks like a really fun snipes game too. Originality is the best thing about your map. Great Job 5/5.
I guess the most positive thing I can tell you here is that I'll try my best. I'm debating whether or not to make another urban map...but if I tried, would it live up to the standards of Vantage Point? I think not. lol. Whatever my next map may be, it will be something relatively new...
