- - Hypersonic - - Created by - Sharku Link for download - Hypersonic Hypersonic is a 2 base asymmetrical and symmetrical playable map with a red and blue base for team games. It has MLG style cover, many unique features, balanced game play and effective spawn placement. I named this map hypersonic because if you define the word it means 5 times the speed of sound, this map has fast-paced objective and slayer games and is soundly made which is why I called it hypersonic. This map has taken me over 5 months on and off which totals at around 30 hours of forging. The geo-merging is perfect and Hypersonic has great aesthetics, I am pretty sure that this map is unbreakable. ^Okay, I see them. Good inter and geo. Though, for some reason, it looks sloppy. I like the barriers bridge, awsome....5/5 I like it! Good job!
Pretty nice looking map. I like the general layout, especially the idea of the standing bridges that act as cover. They give the map a sense of height, kind of an imposing thing, if that makes any sense. I guess it just makes the map seem bigger and more grand when you're running around with these giant thing looming over you. That said, I can see from the pics how gameplay would be flawed in a few areas. You have a good idea with laying down the doors in the ground to provide cover, the only problem is that I tihnk it still leaves the map a bit too open. Since the map is majoritively open, I think a good player with the sniper rifle would be completely dominant (This would be emulsified by how flat the map is. Most of the level is on the ground floor). If the sniper has low ammo it would be better, but I personally think it would be a better idea to close off the map a little more. As it is, each area is home to too many firing lanes, which could lead to a lot of cheap-feeling deaths. Other than that, the map looks great. This looks like one I'm gonna have to DL and try for myself. 3.5/5
