(Hey. If this thread has already been started then I would love a link to it) The Reputation system. Why use it? When do we use it? what is appropriate? how to know it is being abused? Answers anybody? I simply do not fully understand what the proper rep usage would be.
if you agree highly with a point someones making, or they do something amazingly helpful, positive rep em. if someones being an ass and you disagree with how they are acting, negative rep em. abuse is repping people for no reason, or attempting to get more rep yourself.
Also, you cannot neg rep someone for their opinion. If they don't agree with you, tough luck. If they disagree with you in a mean or rude way, then you can neg rep them.
