So the other day I was playing GoW, and I decided to switch to Halo to play a few rounds, since I hadn't seen the new update yet. It started off fine, but then my controller started acting up. It would randomly disconnect (Having 3/4 bars charge) when I started getting shot at, or when I got a kill. It was a little odd, but I just ignored it. The next day I went into forge to work on my map, and every time I died, my controller disconnected. Then every time I melee'd something, my controller disconnected. Then every time I hit myself with a genade, my controller disconnected. I turned off vibration and that fixed it, but I don't understand what's going on? The batteries are fine, and it was playing Gears fine, but when I try to do anything in Halo, it screws up? I'm confused. (I actually ended up winning that match where my controller was disconnecting, regardless of how many times I ended up dying because I was just standing there. I was pretty surprised.)
It might be because when the controller vibrated it would knock the battery loose a little bit. Try pushing the battery in more.
Yeah somthing like that happens to me the battery pack is lose and when i shoot the vibration shakes it loose i just turned the vibration off for the controler
this happened to me for a long time. i was using shitty batteries and i got some rechargable batteries and now it works fine. also try turning off vibration, sometimes that helps.
It's happened to me too, I think it happens if you constantly take the battery pack out (i.e. as a quick way to turn your contoller off) and the pack loosens over time. Your best bet is to turn vibration off If you honestly cannot live without a comforting vibration whenever you kill someone hold the battery pack in place with some duct tape.
