SPC Bombout v3

    SPC Bombout v3


    So my Map is on Blackout and will be played with a one Bomb-gametyp.

    The bomb spawns by the BrTower, and the goal is to place the bomb, down the Lifttower, by the Shotgun.

    First the spawns of the two teams.
    Red are the defenders
    Blue are the attackers

    RED

    Team Red has two different spawn areas. (But just in the begining)

    The main spawn is in the Lifttower by the Shotgun.

    And the second spawn is where the bomb spawns. So this player below has the chance to stop Team Blue by taking the bomb....

    BLUE

    .... but Team Blue spawns near by him. And they have 2 Maulers so he should be careful.
    They spawn on the right and the left side.

    And now the rest of the Map

    The Snipertower
    The cannon man throws you directly to the Lifttower.

    There spawns the Shotgun and the Camo. And a little surprise ..;)

    Top of the Lifttower
    On top of the Lifttower is a sniper rifle

    The attackers can just go through this room to get to the bomb arming.

    Little details:

    The Bomb carrier got a poor camo and is not so fast as normal. And the Radar jammer in the middle is a bad handycap for the defender Team.

    Looks pretty cool but there is one big issue, the mauler spawns next to an overshield in a room full of shield doors.
    If a defender got in there they could essentially halt the attackers progression for a while.

    This map is truly one of a kind, but the fact of the matter is that not much forging skill was incorporated throughout the map.

    Yes, the game play may be fun, and I respect the time and effort you spent on making it that way.

    I am rating this map a 6/10, due to the fact that the game play looks unique and possibly fun, but not much forging skill was included.

    You have done several things that have made it unlikely that I will ever download...
    When you put shield doors everywhere it will lead to camping =(. It's also a bad idea to put a powerup next to a power weapon (shotgun, invis) because it can make gameplay unfair. I think this map will have tons and tons of camping, so no dl from mua...

    It has got the proper idea, but definatly not the skill, you shouldn't put power weapons and power-ups together (shotty/camo and ovie/mauler) and I don't know if the spawning system is good, though I do know that you have sloppy forging, next time think better of what you're doing and test the gameplay alot of times.

    i've played it numerous times and it is really fun^^ it may seems that there are too many power weapons, but if you play it you'll see that most of them aren't too powerful at all. it's a bit too hectic, but overall it's making a lot of fun^^

    the map doesnt seem to be that bad however there are a couple concerns of mine. one is the overshield spawning right next to the mauler and to top that all of they're by a bunch of shield doors. try reducing the amount of shield doors to eliminate camping and move the mauler or the overshield apart from each other. personally i hate shield doors. another similar situation is the shotgun beside the camo, which is even more cheap than the mauler and the overshield. one last thing that does not affect the gameplay but affects the aesthetics is the man cannon which looks a little sloppy. if you changed all of those things then it would be a map i would enjoy playing on.

    Well to be honest it doesn't look 'amazing' but major props for making a decent objective map on blackout :)

    thx for your critique :) but i will not change the map. Because now it is the Version 3 and in the first both Versions it wasn´t so balanced like now. You should play it and write another comment. Maybe it will be your same opinion as before but i dont think so^^

    And whatever i dont have to include much forgeing skills. The Geometry of the Map is good enough ;)
