I can't alt strum it. I can't keep the beat. I can almost ace it downstrumming. Ill throw an up strum every now and then.

If I may make a suggestion on the subject of Give It All's strumming, the bass part has a nearly identical strum rhythm, but without the chords, so if all you need to learn is the rhythm, try that.

Also; in case anyone else has trouble doing the altstrumming in Panic Attack, it's actually in 5/8 time, so instead of the more standard 4 notes per beat, it has 5, which if you're use to strumming in 4/4 to the beat, then it'll screw you over completely. If anyone would rather have me give the nps I'm sure I could get it.

    Also, first post, lol.

First of all, welcome to ForgeHub

And second, speaking of Panic Attack, the strumming in that can be done one of two ways. the first is to obviously strum every note. The second one is the strum every 3 notes to hit a non hammered on green. I don't know all the technical stuff or anything, but if you are going for points, then go into practice and learn to strum at the beat every 3 notes.

Well see, what I meant was the long single note altstrumming where it would be, say a long stretch of blue notes. I do actually strum only what's required in the section you mentioned. (besides, the HOPOs make it far more enjoyable)

And thanks for the welcome, even if I'm not exactly new (ie; lurker) to FH.

Well, I had RB1 and just used instruments from that to get just the game. I wouldn't have bought the $180 game as there aren't too many improvements.

Ah, I see what you mean now. Yeah, that part has a pretty hard beat to keep, but, with a good ear, I can usually keep my combo during it.

All current information points to November, a month after the PS2/3 and Wii get it in the US. At least it isn't next November.

I have around 330 songs, anyone else even remotely close (or even more)?

In the last three weeks, I got Peace Sells... But Who's Buying? (full album, seven songs), the 4 song RB tour pack, exported my RB1 songs (55 songs), Moving Pictures (full album, seven songs), She Sells Sanctuary, Sorrow, Love Spreads and Blood Sugar Sex Magik (full album, 16 songs). I'm also getting all but two of next week's nine. On scorehero it's pretty commonplace to see people with all DLC released (currently about 370 songs).

That said, I sometimes forget all the songs I have, and have trouble deciding on one to play. I also have no desire to even guesstimate at the cost of all of those songs. (BSSM alone was 1600msp or $20)

If anyone's curious, here's a link to a list of all the DLC I have: DLC Quickplay - INV4DER

Yeah, I see people with all DLC on score hero all the time, and I just can't imagine having so many songs. The DLC they have cost more than the entire game itself!

I only get songs that I like and are somewhat of a challenge

Well I understand that method, I actually buy based solely on if I dislike it intensely. What I mean by that is, if I don't hate it, I get it. (which explains the PSBWB and BSSM album purchases) I do regret a few of the Cars songs, I'm in Touch With Your World especially.

As for the challenge aspect, Visions is definitely challenging, but it's one of the worst songs to play in terms of enjoyment. Under the Bridge is virtually unfailable if you're halfway decent, but has an extremely enjoyable chart, as does China Cat, Franklin's Tower and Love Spreads. (or Hysteria/Tell Me Baby bass)

Also; which six? I'd guess Afterlife is one, just on a hunch.

I'm not counting free DLC but here is what I have

    Hysteria - Muse
    Blackened - Metallica
    Ride The Lightning - Metallica
...And Justice For All - Metallica
    Indestuctible - Disturbed
    Inside The Fire -Disturbed
    Perfect Insanity - Disturbed

I know there are probably songs I would like, but I don't want to have to go through all 300 and preview just to find out if I do or not.

I've seen videos for alot of those songs, and I'm just not too interested. Unless I get bored with what I already have, I won't buy any new songs. But thanks anyway.

Also, has everyone single one of your posts been in this thread so far?

Well if you ever do get more songs, those would be your best bets.

And I did post in that thread a little while back if castle crashers is a good game. (<3 Bear)
