Overthrow Created by Th3 Jim Reaper my first published map Supported Gametypes: Reccommended for slayer and team slayer. king of the hill, oddball, one bomb and one flag are also pretty sweet. I did put proper starting points and objectives for all game types in, but these aren't tested. so if you really want to play juggernaught or vip, you can, but i don't know how well it will run. id like to test it further, but since my internet is so crappy, my testing is limited to how many people i can round up and system link. Map Description weapons: 6- brs, sticky grenades, frags 3- carbines 2- smgs, plasma rifles, magnums 1-bruteshot, sniper, mauler, plasma pistol, assault rifle equipment 1- bubble shield, radar jammer overthrow is a small, asymmetrical map, taking up about 1/3 of foundry, and designed for 2-8 players. It feels a little like prisoner or a smaller version of hang em high from h1, but it is not in any way a remake. you can expect long lines of sight, multiple routes around the map, and since every structure is hollow, there is plenty of cover and escape routes. if you like brs, you should love this map. its fast paced, and rewards you for paying attention, and planning ahead. there are two "bases", 2 stories each on opposite sides of the map, since each base is designed around the flow of the map, you probably wouldn't recognize them as bases if they weren't marked. The most noticeable features are the curved hollow tower that swings out out into the middle of the map, and 2 large slanted structures, one takes you to the top of the curved tower, the other stands across the courtyard and takes you to the top ring, near where the snipe spawns. the top ring is 2 stories up, and lazily loops around the map, . there are multiple ways to the top floor, including ramps, jumps, and a lift, which keeps the action flowing and moving. while its a complex map to describe with words, in game you can easily and quickly learn your way around. Just about everything on the map is interlocked, because I'm cool like that. Theres a few objects i can think of that are geomerged, but you wont find any revolutionary geomerging from me (yet). while i used a budget glitch canvass, i still have a plethora of objects left over seems pretty unbreakable, i can fly out as monitor, but i've tried every jumping trick in the book, and haven't gotten out. Good luck map breakers. I like everything on the left side of the map. I think that in the middle of the map is taking the time out of it. It looks like you just rushed to get it finished. I think you should make a v2 and clean it up.
I really like the looks of this, very unique. Looks just a bit too open but the creative structures and skilled merging are very nize. I can't wait to play this, it looks very promising. I'll play and come back with a more detailed review. First impressions: Very Good =)
looks really good but not much of a mlg map type, not much cover but i realy like it and i just dl it. so if its realy good ill be back!
well maybe he did rush it but it is how he wants it but on the other hand bobsagitismybro is kinda right it does look rushed in the middle and it does need a bit off a clean up remember on forgehub we like how it looks how how game play is afected next time take your time to make a great map keep up the good work
Map looks well done, especialy in the slanted roof I think it looked relly well done. The map looks relly fun to play on and it does kinda remind me of hang em high. Well done!
wow it looks like it took a long time to make the interlocking and merging is very clean but once again the middle looks a little rushed but overall its a good map ill dl it later 4.50/5.00
Seems like a pretty clean well made map. Perfect for BR starts obviously. Some of your interlocking in special places is overlapping incorrectly which affects aesthetics but doesn't really hurt gameplay. The bases are very pretty and well made. Great map here.
i appreciate the comments, both the praise and the criticism (you cant have one without the other). as with every map, the walls can always be a little straighter, the ramps a little less bumpy. every v2 and v3 inevitably comes packaged with a facelift. before I can do the fine tuning though, I have to make sure the market is interested in my product, so keep up the comments.
looks really nice, awesome geomerging. i like how its only half of foundry. the curved wall is perfect. the only thing i could see that could be inproved is the details. aesthetics are hard to work in though. 4/5 in my opinion. good job!
This map has some nice interlocking but it could use some more cover in the middle. I would like to see some more pictures from inside because you have alot of pictures showing the same thing over and over again. 4/5
