    Zero One (Version 2)
Created by Joony Joon (Co-created by EliteWolf118)

    Supported Gametypes:
    All standard gametypes supported.

    Map Description
This is an updated version of Zero One, a symmetrical map compatible with all standard gametypes (here's the thread for the original version no longer in my file share). There is a large center structure from which a series of bridges in three tiers extend to interconnect with 8 smaller structures. The map is pretty free flowing with multiple paths to all sides, both vertically and horizontally. The biggest change to the gameplay is the top of the center structure; one point of contention with the previous version was that it'd be too easy to control the top of the map without something for opposing players at ground level to throw grenades at. Now you have something with which you can combat top level camping. Minor gameplay changes include a revised weapon set to further emphasize dual wielding and close quarters combat, and placement of Fusion Cores in certain camp spots. The rest of the changes to the map have been primarily cosmetic, which should be evident enough in the pictures.

    Weapons & Equipment
    2 Carbines
    2 SMGs
    2 Spikers
    2 Plasma Rifles
    2 Magnums
    1 Shotgun
    1 Plasma Pistol

    4 Plasma Grenades
    2 Firebombs

    1 Regenerator

Thanks. The teleporters don't do anything.

THis is perfectly interlocked, however what would be very cool is to make all the double boxes perfectly in a circle to fill the cracks in it. What i like about it is that the bridges are not all at the same hight, great job!

I agree with spattery that this map is looking really awesome. I like the close quarters feel with the teleporters supporting the aesthetics. The interlocking you have looks really nice with the double boxes and bridges. That idea wasn't the most original though. I also like how you used the floating objects really well with the floating teleporters and the floating weapon holder.

But the map is really missing something, i think that something is something that makes the map stand out. Like when you see "the ribcage" or "Electric Slide". They all have one thing in common. They all have something that makes the map stand out from each other. from a well forged cave or tunnel, all the way to something as tiny as a great geomerge.

So the map is looking really good, but i would suggest putting something that makes it stand out maybe in a v3.

    Good Job!

since this is a competitive map, the firebombs should be removed.

I like all those bridges. The interlocking is good. The center structure is cool. You alos have added some nice scenery. Th teleporter thing is cool too, but some people may be confused by it.

Why shouldn't competitive maps have firebombs?

From the pictures so far i'm not really digging it. I think the idea isnt very original (jumping around to different levels), way overused infact. I agree w/ bob saget that the centerpiece would look better with all the corners aligned. Probably a 2/5 overall and about a 0.2360789/5 for originality. It also looks escapable.

wow what a great map! so cleanly interlocked and geomerged, wanna know what this reminds me of? it reminds me of Oblivion, the XBOX 360 RPG, it looks just lika an Oblivion citadel tower with all the bridges leading to other towers, ver very nice work, 8/10!

This Map looks very basic but I really like that actually! What Gametype do you suggest I should play on it? (Team, FFA, Koth?)

I'll come back tomorrow with a more detailed post, queued. ;)

KOTH is really good on this map, as is FFA slayer and FFA oddball. Neutral Bomb is waaaaaaay hectic because it's such a tight map - I'd suggest that with short round times and shotgun secondaries if you want something frantic.

looks really sloppy in someplaces but maybe thats just the maps style...it could use a bit more interlocking in some parts...
