Observation Lab created by: DieHardAssassin Playable Game Type: Survival Human Magnum 100% Jump & Movement No Sensor Zombie Energy Sword 50% Damage Resistance 100% Jump & Movement Enhanced/25m Sensors Appearance= Black "Cut off from all communication, life has become survival of the fittest." Observation Lab features a large enclosed room, with the Humans staring down upon the Zombies. Shotguns line the outside perimeter of the sideways plasma shields, but take one if you dare, because the Zombies can still get you through the shields, however you cannot shoot them. You can however shoot the Zombies through the Fence and two small holes on two sides of the Zombie opening/spawn. After 15 seconds, the Zombies are released, and it is up to you and your teammates to stay alive. There is a Flamethrower that can be taken within these first 15 seconds, but after the 15 seconds, it will fall into the Zombies "Cage". The Zombies can then either run straight through to the Man Cannons, and get launched onto the Humans, or they can take a side route right before the Man Cannons. The Side Routes will allow you to get to the sides of the humans. From the pics the map looks pretty good, Although I think it might get kinda boring and repetative after a while, you should maybe add more ways up to the top that open after a while, or make it so the humans get more stuff after a while (depends on if the humans or zombies have it too hard) EDIT: Also what is stopping someone from jumping down into the zombie spawn and spawn killing them all?
Looks Rather Easy for the humans to just camp in a corner or something, with only 50% damage resistance and no extra speed, those zombies aren't going to be terrifying or a challenge for the humans to survive against. Shotgun > Sword I would Recommend removing the turrets, giving the zombies a bit more speed so they can dodge. Also Maybe another way for the zombies to get up that isn't so camp-able? Give the zombies a sneaky way to get up to the upper level without being slaughtered on the way up. If you can release a V.2 map with those things, this map will definitely be a download for me. Other than a few things that could use improvements this map is a solid Infection map. 3.5/5
GuatecuFoSho, your post is unnecessary, you only need to quote portions of the thread otherwise you take up too much space. About the map, looks like a noobish Infection map, unfair advantage to humans. All the zombies have is the element of suprise.
i dont understand how they can be slaughtered until they are up top? Humans rarely live much longer than 2-3 minutes here... 16 people you have to try it, if i put in more ways to get to the top, it wouldnt be challenging either way.
Nothing is stopping them, but if they want to they can, just know that the respawn gives them a second or two of invulnerability
Humans can just camp at the places the zombies will come up through and blast them the second they shoot through the energy shields or wait for them to come around a corner and pop them.
With zombies coming from all directions above, and 3 sides, you wont survive. The zombies can walk on the bridges above the map, plus if you get close to the middle you can also be killed
