    *This is an updated, finalized version of the FIFA Stadium 2.1 map variant.*

    My goal at the start of this multi-series project was to bring you the first game of soccer that offered you a means of keeping score while eliminating all honor-rules and the potential for griefers to break the map and get away with it. After weeks of tedious tweaking, I can safely say that this map can make that promise. This update solves a myriad of issues and adds an aesthetic touch to the stadium.

    UPDATES

    *The swords above the single boxes were moved to the corners of the field to be used as corner flags, and the overhead camera was removed.

    *Players now spawn inside of the second level of the goal alongside their VIP. Players have 100% gravity, so all they have to do to get onto the field is perform a crouch-jump over the inverted window panels. The VIP has 200% gravity, which keeps him from being able to jump out of the goalie box. To keep the VIP and the field players from tampering with their own coils, one slash from a field player (25% damage with an energy sword) or one hit from the VIP (50% damage with a rocket launcher) will make the coils explode. Since the explosion is now a legitimate self-perpetuating, infinite explosion, the VIP will surely die, giving the team a -1 score for the round for a VIP betrayal. Field players have invulnerable damage resistance, but this will not stop the explosion from killing their VIP.

    *The locker rooms are no longer used, and the receiver nodes inside have been removed. Players who collide with a sender node in one of the goals will be sent straight to the penalty box for the remainder of the round.

    *The single boxes have been moved to a position flush with the goal. Field players who stack themselves to get out of the field can no longer attempt to tamper with the coils inside the net. Swords have been placed above each single box for aesthetics.

    *The fusion coils have been moved to the back of the goal. Now they are most definitely out of reach for the field players. The fusion coils are more sensitive to the man cannons, and for this reason, they will fly upward with the slightest touch. Every shot into the net is a guaranteed goal now! The fusion coils respawn in the path of the man cannons now, causing a self-perpetuating, infinite explosion.

    *The Transparent CurtainTM now stands at midfield. As the VIP’s damage modifier is now 50%, it’s imperative that goalies cannot shoot each others’ goals. The curtain’s positioning still allows an uncompromised shot at the entire field. With the goalies’ damage modifier set to 50%, goalies now have the opportunity to score, directly impacting the game!

    *Flashing nodes mimic the ball’s path out of the Ball LauncherTM. An overhead field camera was constructed with an inverted weapon holder and a trip mine.

    *Roofs were added to the stands for weather purposes, and crossing swords were added to the Press Box Player LauncherTM, denoting the stadium’s rich history and prestige. Field players now intermittently respawn outside of the stadium, allowing full continued use of the launcher.

    *The ball spawns at 10’, so take the field as soon as possible. A dead ball will respawn in 10’.

    *This game can be played as a full-fledged soccer match or a singles match between VIP's!

    Wow, great idea and concept to make soccer work!! Never would have thought of it myself.

    From what you have said it sounds like the players had a sword instead of a gravity hammer. Do the players have a gravity hammer, and the swords are a secondary weapon.

    No, they don't. If they did it would kill the game's formula. (EXP: Players must do some percent of damage to blow up the fusion coils, making it possible to blow them up with the grav hammer's splash damage, leading to easy cheating.)

    Thank you for explaining that, but if there is another update of the map, I would like to be able to use hammers, but that would probably involve having to make the goals twice as deep to keep the fusion coils safe from hammers, downside is that you would probably have to shorten the field's length.

    Adding weaponry with explosive power definitely creates a load of nuances, including splash damage from the hammers and your potential solution. It may be workable in the near future. My attention's diverted elsewhere for now. Try playing the game and then re-evaluate. You might just forget all about the hammers. If not, hang tight, everything is workable with the right amount of time, energy, and persistence.

    If you set damage to 0% the hammers and rockets won't move or blow up fusion coils at all. However you can still move the ball with those weapons.

    It probably would mean you could remove the curtain too.

    I don't think you can put damage to 0%, but even if you could whenever you swing the hammer it pushes thing around you away, so even if it didn't hurt people, it could push the fusion coils into the mancannon, killing the VIP

    Yes you can, and no it doesn't. I have seen it on my map because it was critical for it to work that way. In the map that I did I shot a fusion coil with a rocket and it didn't move at all. But that same rocket can still effect the soccer ball. Don't ask me why.

    I will try it with this specific map later (just downloaded it today). I can't tonight because of *ahem* obvious reasons.

    Setting the field players' damage modifier to 0% still allows them to hit the ball into the net, but the explosion will not kill the VIP (as even an indirect hit with the use of a vicarious object will not do damage). Setting the goalies' damage modifier to 0% will similarly allow the goalie to propel the ball with rockets, but the goalie still cannot score (per the law stated in the above parenthetical reference). Players and goalies must do some amount of damage to kill the other team's VIP and earn points. You will also find that a damage modifier of 0% will allow goalies to hit the coils out of their own net, spraying the coils out onto the field. The field players will have the ability to do the same with a 0% damage modifier.

    Yes, when you play locally, weapons with explosive power combined with a damage modifier of 0%, will not move an object like a fusion coil. This only happens when you play locally. When you play on Live, you will find that even weapons combined with a 0% damage modifier will move these objects around. Splash damage from a hammer will most definitely move the fusion coils, and so will a direct shot with a rocket launcher.

    The request for hammers inspired me to redirect my attention to the map for a brief period of time, and I am currently considering a FIFA Stadium 3 that allows for hammers. Thank you all for your time and attention!
