Old. I'm guessing a friend told you how to do this, but not what telnetting actually does.

 

What does it do?

Dude, okay, so there's this huge thing at my school right now, and tons of kids now have this program thing that's kinda like a command prompt, and they can shut off anyone's computer, at any time in the school. Like, not even kidding. So now we save every 2 seconds. My fingers are crooked to be placed right on Ctrl-S
One time, this one day, they shut off all the computers in the school. The teachers were freaking out. I don't think a single one of them has a clue to what's going on.
