Every now and then when im bored at school, i come across these great ideas for maps. I got a few great ideas for maps, I just can't think of any names! Can someone here give me like some suggestions or links to a list of great map names. I'm kinda looking for names like Halo's maps. Ya know, something cool, catchy, or really has nothing to do with the map at all yet has some sort of complex meaning behind it. Like Valhalla, Standoff, or Epitaph. BTW, this is my 1st post here on FH, im really getting addicted to chechking this site everyday. Thanks in advance to anyone who helps out.
You should be able to get some kind of image in your mind of what your map design reminds you of. Maybe it reminds you of a tree or a courtyard or a McDonald's. Who knows. Take that image in your mind and then combine it with the map's main feature. Maybe you have a pit in the middle or a weird structure or something. Take those two concepts and go from there. It shouldn't take long to come up with a name that's both original and relevant to the map in some way. Good luck.
