Anyone have any tutorials on ANY aspects of signature making. Also if anyone would like I have an idea where someone gives me a challenge and then I make a sig for it and then it gets rated. Well let me know if you can give any help. I will take GIMP suggestions too!
have you heard of this cool site? You put stuff in a little box and it comes with things relevant to the thing put in the box. I think, can't quite remember what it's called, uhm...ahhh! Oh yeah! GOOGLE.
My craptacular tut: -Make a new document with dimensions 400px wide and 100px tall. -Use a cool render or C4D and cover the entire sig with it in a cool way -Do Filters>Blur>Gaussian Blur and do 1px blur -Make a new layer -Place your desired render in a cool way -make a new layer below the render -make a gradient with your desired color around the render and the other color of the gradient black -Make a new layer -Apply desired C4Ds and fractals -Now comes the best part- In the layer box there should be an opacity selection box where you can select the opacity for each layer.....fiddle with that until it looks good. -Also there should be a selection box with the word normal in it......with that box you can apply effects to each layer -Fiddle around until it looks good. These are only the simplest of sigs that can be produced this way but in combination with other tools, you can get a sig like my current one with the same process.
Thanks. And yes I know how to use Google But I mean it's harder to find tutorials on Google than to come here and get some from the Awesome designers from here. Like you xxAl Capawnagexx
You do know that Forgehub has their own tutorial thread right? Maybe you should click the link in my spoiler and read some of them. Ya?
ha, sorry for my sarcasm. I know there are several good tutorial threads floating around the G&A section, and I'll edit my post with my favorite sites for tuts in a bit psdtuts
