Hey guys, finally took a break from looking at all these maps and making my own to post an introduction.

My name is Matt, I'm 22 and live in Georgia. I'm out of work right now until I can learn to drive my 1967 Chevy C-10. It's a beautiful truck that runs great, only it's a manual and I don't know how to drive those. But I gotta learn! This truck was a hell of a deal, only $1,400. And ever since the day I bought it, I've been getting offers to sell. I guess I could sell it for what it's worth (more than I paid) and buy a truck I can actually drive, but I really like having something everyone wants. And it's so pretty. I just hope it doesn't get stolen.

I'm getting married March 19th to a beautiful girl named Sarah. She plays games too. Her favorites being Oblivion, Guitar Hero2, Halo1 and Gears of War. She really likes to read, cook and talk to her friends; that's what she usually is doing. Oh, and believe it or not, we'll be having MasterChief and Arbiter as our wedding cake toppers. I think she came up with the idea, and she defends it to her mom all the time, it's hilarious.
Honeymoon is 4 days in a cabin up in Helen, Ga. It's gonna be great.

I love to forge, and I believe I am pretty good at it. I've become a skilled interlocker, espescially when it comes to merging with the map geometry. I'm such a perfectionist though that it takes me forever to build a map.

I'm part of a great small forging community called The Ghosts of Onyx, which has been a blast to be a part of. Friendly, very cool guys, lots of fun competitions, and we're just now getting a new forum and possibly later our own site. There are quite a few members who are also members here at Forge Hub.

Oh, and I am also on the newly formed Furious Review team. Very excited about that. We had our first review session tonight and it was great. Hoping I can make some friends with some of the regulars here. My begininning experience here at Forge Hub was pretty negative, and I'm hoping to turn that around.

Well, that's done, time to forge!

Ok, Wonder, here's some things you forgot to mention, but I remember reading them in your 360 bio. KOTOR was awesome, and contains the biggest plot twist in a video game, ever. At least the biggest in any game I've played. Some people didn't like the fighting system, but I loved it.

Coheed and Cambria are cool, but I can't remember the names of any of their songs that I've heard.

You mentioned how Sarah plays video games. Where does one meet a woman who likes to play? I can imagine that the answer would be important to a lot of people around here, lol.

Anyways, I'm glad you're part of the Furious Review and I'm glad you've decided to visit the Hub more often. There are some jerks around here, but there are a lot of helpful, mature people too.

Manuals are just more fun to drive though, aren't they? I think that we need a picture of the truck to really give your introduction some character. Videos of you trying to drive it would also work. :p

I know what you mean about your map output suffering due to being a perfectionist. I can't hardly bring myself to forge a new map right now because of the time investment I know it will be. Thinking back on it, I believe that I met you through Lenocinor and Arafa (good friends of mine from Tampa, FL). I remember the first Saturday night we played customs until about 5am, good times. Did most of the people that played Clue and other customs stop playing?

Anyways, I hope you're not an UGA fan. If you are, I hope you were at the football game in Knoxville this year. :squirrel_giggle:

    From my 360 bio:
Favorite Things: Halo, Rockband, Mass Effect, Morrowind, Pschonauts, Prince or Persia, Oblivion, Zelda, Fire Emblem, Kotor 1, Ninja Gaiden. I also like Family Guy, Human Giant, Lost, Heroes and the only anime/manga I like is Fullmetal Alchemist (FTW!) My favorite bands are Coheed and Cambria, Incubus, & Radiohead.

That's just the order I thought them up. I really love drumming on Rockband - I'm on medium now. What Furious said about Kotor was completely true. And he was close in what he said about Coheed and Cambria. They are actually awesome!!! and the most talented band I've ever seen or heard. A few of their greatest songs are "The Final Cut", "Delirium Trigger", and "In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth"

Glimflicker: Yeah, I did meet you through Arafa and Lenocinor. The guys we played Clue with are actually all members of The Ghosts of Onyx, except you, leno, and Arafa. We have biweekly game nights on Fri, Sat, and Sun. A lot like TGIF here I guess. Oh, and I'll be posting some pics on here of my truck and wedding after the honeymoon.

Good call on Psychonauts and Mass Effect. Great, great games. And I had fun playing with you and the guys last night for the reviews, and however many nights ago it was for the customs... Just send me a request next time you play. I promise not to beat you so bad. That was a good night for me.

Seriously, though, glad you're a part of the team. Go, Ghosts!
